| Answer: I'm at work today so nothing real exciting to report. My u/s is at 9 in the morning so I'm a bit anxious about that. Regan, I would LOVE to have laser surgery on my eyes. I've been in glasses since the 3rd grade. I can't imagine not having glasses or contacts. Anyway, I must study. I have sooooooo much to study in such a small amount of time! I'll check in later! = |

| Answer: WOW! It is really quiet here tonight! I guess starting a new thread jinxed us! I just got home from work. A thunderstorm just went through with some hail. Luckily they weren't very big so I don't think there's any damage. I opened a bottle of champagne and am getting in the bathtub. I have to shave these forests on my legs before my u/s tomorrow! | Answer: Hi Ann! Yes it sure is quiet here for sure! I ended up getting most of my planting done. I am having some issues figuring out what I should do so I called a landscape design company because I really need a plan & some help choosing things etc...I need a professional opinion big time. They are sending someone out on Thursday. Got my housework done & I'm just watching American Idol with a cup of tea. Going to take a bath after this and just chill out for the rest of the evening. Tomorrow I have to pick up the chairs & cushions, then in the afternoon the mulch/soil & pea gravel are being delivered. | Answer: Evening my girls. I just got home from work. We had a recognition program for all the graduating nurses. I am exhausted, but had to stop in and say hello. Ann and Regan, sounds like you two are working way too hard. I planted some flowers, but that is it. Work is KILLING ME! Amy, yes, NP's here in Kentucky do have DEA numbers. They can prescribe anything but schedule one's. I have to practice for one year before applying for one. Well ladies, looks like I for sure ovulated. My temp is still up, and I am on 9 dpo (I think). Someone at dh's work gave him one of those really expensive fertility monitors for me to use when it comes time...I AM READY. Well, Ann, I hope the u/s goes well. Let us know as soon as you get home. I think I am 9dpo with Brandy; i haven't had any signs of implantation, tho, so I dont know what to think. I mean, I have been praying about it and I know that if you don't believe what you pray then it's pointless, but I can't help but tell myself not to get excited yet, either. Brandy, sounds like you're not going to make it till fall before ttc!!!!! Follow your heart and if you truly feel ready, go with it. Don't fight it! Amy, absolutely DO NOT get discouraged if you don't have signs of implantation! Most people don't have implantation signs. Most the charts I've seen that look like implantation (temp drop, spotting, etc) ended up not being preggo. So don't get down yet! It's way too early for that. Missy, Danielle, where you girls at? If you're like everyone else I'm sure you're in bed or hanging out on the couch! I'm headed to bed shortly too. Good night girls and I'll definitely post u/s results as soon as I get home. | Answer: Ok, I'm here! You all know how easy it is to get busy with a million things! I had to repaint all the doors I just did the other day cause I ended up hating the color! So now they look like I wanted them to. The u/s went well, Thank God! 2 small cysts but that's ok. I'll start the Clomid again tomorrow and the trigger shot has been ordered. I saw the nurse practitioner today and we talked about IUI. She's going to talk to my doctor about it tomorrow but I told her I didn't want to do that if we didn't have to. If the doc thinks we can do it on our own, I'd much rather that be the case. So we're starting at square one again. I'm ready though. Regan, you have been staying busy enough for all of us!! Take a break girl! I can picture RAMBO hanging from the blinds!! That's so freakin cute!! Missy, glad you found us! I can't wait till I can blame eating 5 cookies on pregnancy! Brandy, have you and DH talked any more about when you're going to start ttc again? Danielle, I totally understand waiting on school. I know you want badly to get it done but it will happen in good time. I'll graduate next May with my BSN and if I get preggo this cycle I'll be due in February! Yikes! Luckily, my classes are online and I have things set up so I'll only have to take 1 class that semester. But I'm starting the Master's program in the fall of 09 so that could get a little tricky. I guess I'll be in Brandy's boat then! Amy, how are you feeling today? I was feeling a bit frustrated about the 3 Clomid cycles too. Since last cycle didn't work I only have 2 more left before I have to start paying big bucks and getting into crazy stuff. However, after my appt today I feel a lot better. The NP told me if I'm not preggo after the 3 Clomid cycles and the fact that my body really has responded well and the S/A was good, the RE would have me do IUI. She felt very confident that I would get preggo that way if these next 2 cycles don't work. So don't give up hope. I know that's easier said than done but we're in this together! I just have to remind myself that Missy didn't preggo till her 3rd round of Clomid so I can't give up! Well, I'm going to do some little stuff around the house. I'll check in later! = |

| Answer: Hi girls, how's everything tonight. I just got settled down a little for the evening. Danielle, I completely understand not starting school with a new baby coming. I was finishing up my MSN when I had Koby. It was crazy. However, having a 2-year old and going to school is crazy too. Ann, Tony and I have talked about when to start ttc again. I thought we were both on board with waiting till the fall, but when we were talking about it the other night, Tony said that unless the NP tells us that we should wait, we will probably go on. I can't imagine that if we get the ok we will be able to not try. It is taking alot to behave right now ;) I have to say I saw something that made me want to puke today. I saw a woman who was VERY pregnant getting in a car with her two other very young children with two other adults. All three adults (including her) were smoking in the car with the windows rolled up....I WANTED TO SCREAM "WHY". That is not fair. Well, very sad but what can you do? Well, I am heading to bed here in a bit. I am so tired this week. I started having AF cramps today, so I am sure she is on her way, but of course I am expecting her since we haven't been trying. | Answer: Brandy, don't ever worry about asking too much. We are here to share everything! Fortunately, my OB doc is able to do IUI at their clinic so I wouldn't need to go to an RE for it. I was very happy about that. The NP mentioned $500 and I was shocked with that little amount. I was expecting much more. I don't know if that covers the whole procedure or what. I didn't really ask much but when I said I didn't want to do that unless we had to she said "yeah, that would just be an extra $500". I'll let you know if I find out more. I saw the same thing today too!! I woman who is very pregnant with her 2nd child was driving and smoking. It made me very angry too. It's just so unfair I can't even begin to comprehend it all. I just cannot understand how this world works. Regan, I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm so excited for you! Yeah for a "first date"! So I assume all the divorce papers are signed and things are moving forward. Now it's just a waiting game for things to finalize. Yipee!!! Well, I'll check in later too. = |
| Answer: Amy, we must have been typing at the same time! Have you talked to your doc about what the next step is if the Clomid doesn't work? Of course we are still thinking positive that it is going to work, but do you have a plan B? Oh Brandy, the reason I'm so happy about my OB being able to do IUI is because I would have to drive 4 hours to get to the closest RE! I think it's also more expensive with a RE. = |
| Answer: Ann- the only think that he mentioned to me was doing some of the testing that you guys have already had done, like the hsg and dh's analysis. It's almost like this is going backwards, because almost everyone on clomid that i've talked to has already had those tests to rule out everything else. I guess he's pretty confident that this will work or he would have worked me up a little differently? Today is 10 dpo according to ff, when do you think i should test? = |
| Answer: I hate to give advice on when to test. After my last cycle it's too hard for me to know when to test. My chart looked beautiful for a long time and my LP was 4 days longer than normal. I'd wait until atleast the day AF is due for you. I know that's easier said than done but try your best. I just don't want you to get your heart broken. = |
| Answer: Oh yeah Amy, I know some doctor's do things differently. Mine believes that the S/A should be done first because it's the cheapest and least invasive. Then they do the HSG before starting Clomid because he says it doesn't do any good to give Clomid if the tubes are blocked and nothing can get through anyway. So that's how we got to this point. It's really a matter of how comfortable you are and how much you trust your doctor. I trust mine completely and love him!!! Well girls, I'm going to do a little studying then head to bed. | Answer: Ok, thanks for all your input gals! i don't have any hpt's in the house right now, so i won't be tempted till i go to walmart lol. Irish setters are so beautiful! and of course i'm partial to the lab :) I love kitties, too, but dan (my dh) is allergic, so no cats allowed for now. | Answer: So the landscaping team is now taking pics & measuring everything. They are going to draw up 2 different design scenarios for me based on all these things that of course I didn't consider like soil type, sun, shade, direction facing, wind etc..LOL. yeah I'm just like oh this plant looks cute here! :) haha. my homework is to go through the catalogues & magazines they left me and mark all the pages of the styles, plants & colour schemes that I like the most...yay! | Answer: sorry amy i didn't answer you - the vancouver real estate market is insane, you can't get close to the downtown core under half a million!!! so with our unit being a 3 bedroom on the water our agent said there will be a line up before it even gets listed. as for Toronto, its pretty expensive for homes but there are enough new condo developments that you can still find something reasonably priced if you look in midtown rather than right downtown. i have heard on the news about the crashing real estate markets in some states, that's really scary. how is it where you live? = |
| Answer: Good morning my girls! I was feeling terrible this morning so I didn't post earlier. I was so dizzy I couldn't see straight. I'm much better now though. Nothing else new on my end. | Answer: Yay Regan I'm glad that you will not have trouble selling your home! I live in WV, which is undoubtedly one of the poorest states in the country, so the market is terrible! When we sold our home in Morgantown (where West Virginia University is located) it only took us 3 months, but the house was less than a year old in a new development, and we ended up having to pay 5 grand because the selling price didn't cover all the costs!! We just bought another house about 2 hours away from there, in my hometown that borders Ohio, and there were sooo many foreclosures and unsold houses it was ridiculous. Now that the interest rates have dropped, there is a little more activity. I loved going to openhouses, though, I wish I could go with you! Ann--why were you dizzy this morning? Is that common for you with af? Do you have anything to check your blood sugar? Let me know how you're doing!!! = |
| Answer: Amy, I've battled dizziness since I was in the 4th grade!! I don't know what brings it on. I think it's an inner ear thing. I've checked my blood sugar at different times when I felt like that and it was fine. As a kid I had an EEG done to watch the brain activity but it was fine. The doc put me on an antibiotic at that time which helped. Now I just deal with it. One of my co-workers has the same problem and she saw an ENT doc who said it's Calcium crystals that get stuck in the ear inner ear. When it happens, it only lasts for a day at the most. I'm feeling much better now. Still just a tad light headed but that's it. I've tried taking Meclizine for it in the past but that didn't help. I also tried a Scopalamine patch once but that only made my vision worse. So I just deal with it and accept it as an inner ear issue!! Thanks for being concerned though!! = |
| Answer: hello there..ann glad to hear you're feeling better. what are you going to do with your day off tomorrow? i have gone through everything and noticed that i am drawn to shades of purple, lavender, white & lime greens. so i don't know what that means..lol..but that's what i'm going with. i really really want a butterfly garden though so out front in my sunny area i'm going to do one. not much else new here, i finally got around to calling the marina to get my boats in the water. very happy they can do it on friday because i was getting tiring of having to kayak around..lol! that's that. heading into town for some necessities i.e. wine & snack foods..haha...XOXO = |

| Answer: Good evening gals! Ann I'm glad you're feeling better, that sucks that you have to deal with it all the time, though! Regan I absolutely love hearing about your days...it's like I live vicariously through you heheheh. Ok so now something new on FF lol. I put in my temp for today and it said it found a possible triphasic pattern, which I know you can have with or without pregnancy. But today I had cramps and once when I went to the bathroom I had the faint brown-tinted blood a little, the kind that usually preceeds my period. This just all seems so fast to me, though, ovulating on cd 13 and then possibly starting in the next day or two when it's only 11 dpo and cd 24. Maybe that's normal for me and I never knew it! Oh well, I guess I'll find out soon enough, huh. So because of the abundance of longer hair on one of my dogs, the bathtub was completely clogged...I had to take q-tips and dig down into the drain and get it out!!! I have to figure out some way to catch the hair before it goes down the drain next time hahaha. Ok, well I think I've rambled on enough lol sorry if i didn't make any sense!!! = |
| Answer: Amy, I see why it said a possible triphasic pattern. Just try your hardest to be strong and not test yet! Your temps in the next day or two should tell which direction this cycle is going to go. I sure hope it's a BFP though!!! I started my Clomid again today so let the games begin! | Answer: Daneille- it really stinks when you think the money's there and it's not. We have definitely been there, and not too long ago, actually. We were very fortunate a couple months ago that Dan got a better paying job, so that lets me not work so much, but I will never be able to just be a stay-at-home mom :( Regan- I hope the weather is nice there for boating, it is still rainy and yucky here today. And thanks for the good wishes girls! I am going to retest and make sure it wasn't a fluke thing...but I used a clear blue easy digital test to make sure I didn't confuse myself with faint lines lol. I just sat there in disbelief...I really thought it was going to be negative. Then I crawled into bed with Dan and told him he was going to be a daddy, then i bawled like a baby lol. but of course, he brought me back to reality by telling me not to get overexcited...it could be ectopic, i could miscarry, anything could happen. So my first appt is Monday morning, then I'm going to Columbus, OH to see my sister...now I get to tell her in person :) Ok i'm done rambling for now lol. Hope everyone has a great day! = |

I guess i only had enough hcg built up for my morning pee, and it is still really early to have enough hormone to even test positive at all lol. | Answer: Amy, I'd definitely just retest in the am. I'm only on the 2nd day of Clomid so no side effects. I didn't have any last month either so I don't expect to have any this time. It makes my temp crazy but I can deal with that. It already went up higher this morning. I try keeping my emotions in check because DH is already not a huge fan of medical help for ttc. He's one of those that always says "What about the old fashioned way?" I'm always telling him that obviously doesn't work for us! Regan, your day sounds so fun! That's too bad your date got postponed but you'll have fun anyway. Now you have something to look forward to for tomorrow! Danielle, I totally know the stress about money. When you're in school it's so much worse. It will get better, I promise. I just had to pay $800 for a new windshield and to get a dent removed from my car. | Answer: Evening girls! I finally made it on here. Our internet has been down for a while. AMY, SO MANY CONGRATS TO YOU. Do not get too upset about the 2nd test. I had a faint line at 14dpo. It takes a while for that hcg to build up. I would wait till at least tomorrow morning to retest (maybe even a day or two). Give it time...its early. The bleeding is definitely IB. I had enough with Koby to wear a tampon (thought it was AF). IB normally comes when you would otherwise expect AF. Let me say this from experience, yes, bad things can happen. That is the risk of anything in life, isn't it? However, the risk of it happening would never outway what I have with my precious little man. Life is always worth the risk, and the payoff is huge (esp. motherhood). I go into ttc with the thoughts of "what if" (esp. since I know what the "what ifs" are like), but that is just something that is between me and God. Have faith and try to relax and enjoy all these moments; they are precious and the gifts of life. Rest, eat well, and let everyone else do the stressing. YOU'RE PREGNANT! Right next to a table with 3 pregnant women...and every show I watch either involves pregnant women or there are commercials for pregnancy stuff...I was getting so upset. And I almost didn't want to post on here that I got a bfp because I don't want to be a part of what makes you feel worse...but just remember that we are all here because we needed support, and that is what you will always get. And, speaking only for myself of course, I found out this morning that when it does finally happen, it just feels like time stands still for that one moment when you finally read a positive test...it is something i will never forget, because in that one instant I saw so much more than just a positive pregnancy test--i saw my future. i'm probably not making much sense because it's after midnight lol. anyway, i admire you, and all of these women, for being strong and going forward...that's why i wanted to join your group, and i'm so glad you let me :) Brandy--thanks for sharing and for the advice, I am definitely going to take it! And the silly girl that I am, when my church's ladies' group was giving out prizes for the mother's day dinner tonight, they were going to give me the youngest mother prize. I said no, i'm not a mother yet, but they wouldn't hear of it (they knew i was trying) and they said since i was "expecting to expect" they wanted me to have it, lol, so right then and there i had to blurt out that i thought i was already expecting and the rest is history lol. So I made sure they knew that it was way early on and anything could happen, and just asked them to pray for me :) i think it worked out well, now I won't feel like I mislead them if something does happen. | Answer: Amy, I still think it is really early. Your temp looks great. You are only 13dpo. I would wait till Monday or Tuesday morning to retest. You will drive yourself crazy and spend a forture in hpt. Let those hormone levels go up. Mine even with this last pregnancy took like to 20dpo to get really dark (even with Koby which obviously was a viable pregnancy). Everybody is different. Congrats on the big mommy's day tomorrow. | Answer: good morning ladies! well i got the best mothers day present from my lil man yesterday! it made me cry! it was his first year in school, he's 3, and he made me a flower and a card, and they helped him write his name, so sweet! it made my day better. amy, it took almost a week after my period was due for my line to get dark, but once it did, it was DARK, but it took a while. and the first one i took i almost thought was negative, cuz it took sooooo long for the line to show up. Brandy, you are def allowed to be sad! i am still sad and its been almost a year! i cried on and off the whole time, and the bad thing was i had a friend who was due the 5 days before me, and when she found out she was having a girl, i cried, cuz i knew i was supposed to find out, and i bawled on the due date, which was this past january, and still sometimes i tear up thinking about it. its def. ok to cry! let it out! if you've been on my myspace, i put up a poem for my lost baby, its really sweet and is absolutely perfect for a loss like ours. you should read it. myspace. com/ daniellenflowers take out the spaces and add w's. but it is always ok to cry, that was YOUR baby.
