I'm at work today so nothing real exciting to report. My u/s is at 9 in the morning so I'm a bit anxious about that. Regan, I would LOVE to have laser surgery on my eyes. I've been in glasses since the 3rd grade. I can't imagine not having glasses or contacts. Anyway, I must study. I have sooooooo much to study in such a small amount of time! I'll check in later!

yay new thread!!! hi ann, i'll be thinking of you tomorrow morning and i'm sure everything will be great. i guess everyone is pretty busy. not much new here, my back is about to give up so its time to call it a day. gonna hop in the shower & do some housework. talk to you guys later! XO

WOW! It is really quiet here tonight! I guess starting a new thread jinxed us! I just got home from work. A thunderstorm just went through with some hail. Luckily they weren't very big so I don't think there's any damage. I opened a bottle of champagne and am getting in the bathtub. I have to shave these forests on my legs before my u/s tomorrow! Regan, did you get all your planting and housework done? You said you had fun last night so I'm assuming it well with Garrett again. Where's everyone else? Ok, I'll be back after my bath!

Name: babynewbie | Date: May 6th, 2008 8:40 PM
Hi Ann! Yes it sure is quiet here for sure! I ended up getting most of my planting done. I am having some issues figuring out what I should do so I called a landscape design company because I really need a plan & some help choosing things etc...I need a professional opinion big time. They are sending someone out on Thursday. Got my housework done & I'm just watching American Idol with a cup of tea. Going to take a bath after this and just chill out for the rest of the evening. Tomorrow I have to pick up the chairs & cushions, then in the afternoon the mulch/soil & pea gravel are being delivered. So I'll come back later as well, if we miss each other good luck tomorrow morning!!! XOXO Regan

Evening my girls. I just got home from work. We had a recognition program for all the graduating nurses. I am exhausted, but had to stop in and say hello. Ann and Regan, sounds like you two are working way too hard. I planted some flowers, but that is it. Work is KILLING ME! Amy, yes, NP's here in Kentucky do have DEA numbers. They can prescribe anything but schedule one's. I have to practice for one year before applying for one. Well ladies, looks like I for sure ovulated. My temp is still up, and I am on 9 dpo (I think). Someone at dh's work gave him one of those really expensive fertility monitors for me to use when it comes time...I AM READY. Well, Ann, I hope the u/s goes well. Let us know as soon as you get home. Regan, I hope your love affair is going well (met the family huh?...;) Danielle and Amy, have a good night, and I'll talk to you all tomorrow. Missy, where are youuuuuu? Love ya girls, Brandy.

Name: praying4baby | Date: May 6th, 2008 9:31 PM
Good evening girls...I am probably going to bed early tonight cuz i am so tired! I think i could sleep for years lol. I think I am 9dpo with Brandy; i haven't had any signs of implantation, tho, so I dont know what to think. I mean, I have been praying about it and I know that if you don't believe what you pray then it's pointless, but I can't help but tell myself not to get excited yet, either. I just want this roller coaster to be over already lol. I will probably lose it if the 3 cycles of clomid go by without any bfp's. Ok i'm done being depressing lol. Ann, i'll be thinking of you in the morning! Goodnight everyone!

Name: babynewbie | Date: May 6th, 2008 9:42 PM
hey brandy and amy! okay so ann don't stress too much about tomorrow, it will all be fine! i am heading to bed as well, all these days of fresh air have knocked me out and i can barely keep my eyes open..lol. so good night to everyone....XO Regan

Name: annmarie | Date: May 6th, 2008 10:05 PM
My goodness! Sounds like everyone is just plain exhausted! I am a bit nervous about tomorrow but I'm just trying to think positive. Brandy, sounds like you're not going to make it till fall before ttc!!!!! Follow your heart and if you truly feel ready, go with it. Don't fight it! Amy, absolutely DO NOT get discouraged if you don't have signs of implantation! Most people don't have implantation signs. Most the charts I've seen that look like implantation (temp drop, spotting, etc) ended up not being preggo. So don't get down yet! It's way too early for that. Missy, Danielle, where you girls at? If you're like everyone else I'm sure you're in bed or hanging out on the couch! I'm headed to bed shortly too. Good night girls and I'll definitely post u/s results as soon as I get home. I do have to do a little shopping before I come home though. Well, nighty night! Love to you all! Ann

OK BLONDE ALERT BLONDE ALERT! I have been checking the old thread waiting for someone to be around (i make shortcuts to the threads so i dont dig thru all the other threads on SOP) and since no one was posting I just thought it was a quiet day - lowe and behold, you all took off on me HAHAHHAHA. Can you guys let me know when u start a new thread LOL - Blonde over here **blush**. Anyhow, just chillin, wondering why I Thats FIVE cookies today - not good! Ann, sending good vibes for your US. Brandy, hope you get some much deserved rest! Regan, hope you get some good input, my hubby is King of HGTV and swears he's got his interior design/landscape design degree from that (just like I have my google MD HAHAHAHHAHA). Amy, don't worry about implant signs - 9 times outta 10 when you "have" the signs, AF shows, and when you swear you are out is when you get your BFP LOL. OK, I think I've gotten caught up - talk to everyone tomorrow! Lotsa love!

OK just realized part of my post must have gotten erased - I talk in the middle about the fact that I made snickerdoodles tonight, ate 3 of them, and ate 2 oreos earlier in the day so I'm a piggy that's eaten 5 cookies today LOL

Name: babynewbie | Date: May 7th, 2008 8:31 AM

Name: babynewbie | Date: May 7th, 2008 4:52 PM
hey no chatty chatty!!! lol. okay i got everything into the barn just in time, it is pouring rain here!!! the dogs are locked in the sunroom as they collectively decided to roll in a mud puddle and my back hurts too much to bath them right now! :) so how is everyone doing? any news? ann i hope everything went great today at your u/s. well i've delayed the inevitable long enough time to clean off the furballs...RAMBO is currently swinging off of the string that lowers the blinds...LOL! back later & i want some chatter people!!! XOXO Regan

Name: annmarie | Date: May 7th, 2008 6:01 PM
Ok, I'm here! You all know how easy it is to get busy with a million things! I had to repaint all the doors I just did the other day cause I ended up hating the color! So now they look like I wanted them to. The u/s went well, Thank God! 2 small cysts but that's ok. I'll start the Clomid again tomorrow and the trigger shot has been ordered. I saw the nurse practitioner today and we talked about IUI. She's going to talk to my doctor about it tomorrow but I told her I didn't want to do that if we didn't have to. If the doc thinks we can do it on our own, I'd much rather that be the case. So we're starting at square one again. I'm ready though. Regan, you have been staying busy enough for all of us!! Take a break girl! I can picture RAMBO hanging from the blinds!! That's so freakin cute!! Missy, glad you found us! I can't wait till I can blame eating 5 cookies on pregnancy! Brandy, have you and DH talked any more about when you're going to start ttc again? Danielle, I totally understand waiting on school. I know you want badly to get it done but it will happen in good time. I'll graduate next May with my BSN and if I get preggo this cycle I'll be due in February! Yikes! Luckily, my classes are online and I have things set up so I'll only have to take 1 class that semester. But I'm starting the Master's program in the fall of 09 so that could get a little tricky. I guess I'll be in Brandy's boat then! Amy, how are you feeling today? I was feeling a bit frustrated about the 3 Clomid cycles too. Since last cycle didn't work I only have 2 more left before I have to start paying big bucks and getting into crazy stuff. However, after my appt today I feel a lot better. The NP told me if I'm not preggo after the 3 Clomid cycles and the fact that my body really has responded well and the S/A was good, the RE would have me do IUI. She felt very confident that I would get preggo that way if these next 2 cycles don't work. So don't give up hope. I know that's easier said than done but we're in this together! I just have to remind myself that Missy didn't preggo till her 3rd round of Clomid so I can't give up! Well, I'm going to do some little stuff around the house. I'll check in later!

hi ann! happy to hear everything went well and you're raring & ready to go...lol! not much new here just making grilled cheese sandwich & tomato soup for dinner..haha. very gourmet, but i had a craving for it. the rain has died down for the most part but it is very windy & still thundering. the perfect night for comfort food & america's next top model..lol! love to everyone, back later1 XO

Regan, you crack me up! You and your tv shows! I just put a casserole in the oven and I'm settling on the couch for the evening. DH has a firemen meeting tonight then he has to work so he'll be gone early. I'll check in later to hopefully read some good chatter!

Name: Kobysmom | Date: May 7th, 2008 7:40 PM
Hi girls, how's everything tonight. I just got settled down a little for the evening. Danielle, I completely understand not starting school with a new baby coming. I was finishing up my MSN when I had Koby. It was crazy. However, having a 2-year old and going to school is crazy too. Ann, Tony and I have talked about when to start ttc again. I thought we were both on board with waiting till the fall, but when we were talking about it the other night, Tony said that unless the NP tells us that we should wait, we will probably go on. I can't imagine that if we get the ok we will be able to not try. It is taking alot to behave right now ;) I have to say I saw something that made me want to puke today. I saw a woman who was VERY pregnant getting in a car with her two other very young children with two other adults. All three adults (including her) were smoking in the car with the windows rolled up....I WANTED TO SCREAM "WHY". That is not fair. Well, very sad but what can you do? Well, I am heading to bed here in a bit. I am so tired this week. I started having AF cramps today, so I am sure she is on her way, but of course I am expecting her since we haven't been trying. Night girls.

Name: Kobysmom | Date: May 7th, 2008 7:44 PM
Ok, I think I just saw something even worse on the TV...a woman making her toddler smoke pot. They just told the story and showed the video of it on Inside Edition. Again, I ask why.

Name: Kobysmom | Date: May 7th, 2008 7:46 PM
Ann, being a bit too curious probably, but did they happen to discuss what the IUI would cost? I know your insurance doesn't pay for fertility treatments. Neither does ours. Just tell me if I am asking too much.

Name: babynewbie | Date: May 7th, 2008 8:42 PM
evening gals! brandy some parents should have their tubes tied & children given to loving families..i swear it makes me insane when i hear things like that! i am just schlumping on the sofa with some tea and cookies watching a.n.t.m. garrett called and asked me to a movie friday night...hee hee! :) so we are going into town to have dinner & see 'Ironman'...I let him choose because my taste in movies might scare him away (subtitles, foreign films & indie only!) LOL. I feel like its our first real "date" because of the divorce papers so I'm really looking forward to it!!! okay i'll check back in before bed...XOXO

Name: praying4baby | Date: May 7th, 2008 8:52 PM
Good evening girls! I just got home and finished up some dinner...boy this long week at work just kills me lol I can't wait till my partner comes back :) Regan-if you just give me one ounce of your energy, I will be greatful!! what kind of dogs do you have? we have 2 black labs that are under 2 years old, but they're precious. Brandy- sounds like you will be ttc sooner rather than later :) hopefully koby will have a little brother or sister to play with heehee. Missy--if you ever need to feel better about being blonde, let me share some of my blonde moments with you lol...i really don't know how i made it this far :P Danielle- have you made up with the hubby yet? He better have apologized for being so insensitive! Especially with you working so hard! Ann- i'm so glad your appt went well!! Maybe this time will be the last time you have to think about it....that would be so great! And it's good that they gave you the options after the 3 rounds and that they sound so promising. At least there's more than this if it doesn't work. And I want to thank all of you for encouraging me on my low day :) It made a world of difference and I truly appreciate it!!! Ok i'll check back in later...much love and prayers!

Name: annmarie | Date: May 7th, 2008 8:55 PM
Brandy, don't ever worry about asking too much. We are here to share everything! Fortunately, my OB doc is able to do IUI at their clinic so I wouldn't need to go to an RE for it. I was very happy about that. The NP mentioned $500 and I was shocked with that little amount. I was expecting much more. I don't know if that covers the whole procedure or what. I didn't really ask much but when I said I didn't want to do that unless we had to she said "yeah, that would just be an extra $500". I'll let you know if I find out more. I saw the same thing today too!! I woman who is very pregnant with her 2nd child was driving and smoking. It made me very angry too. It's just so unfair I can't even begin to comprehend it all. I just cannot understand how this world works. Regan, I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm so excited for you! Yeah for a "first date"! So I assume all the divorce papers are signed and things are moving forward. Now it's just a waiting game for things to finalize. Yipee!!! Well, I'll check in later too.

Name: annmarie | Date: May 7th, 2008 8:59 PM
Amy, we must have been typing at the same time! Have you talked to your doc about what the next step is if the Clomid doesn't work? Of course we are still thinking positive that it is going to work, but do you have a plan B? Oh Brandy, the reason I'm so happy about my OB being able to do IUI is because I would have to drive 4 hours to get to the closest RE! I think it's also more expensive with a RE.

Name: praying4baby | Date: May 7th, 2008 9:28 PM
Ann- the only think that he mentioned to me was doing some of the testing that you guys have already had done, like the hsg and dh's analysis. It's almost like this is going backwards, because almost everyone on clomid that i've talked to has already had those tests to rule out everything else. I guess he's pretty confident that this will work or he would have worked me up a little differently? Today is 10 dpo according to ff, when do you think i should test?

Name: annmarie | Date: May 7th, 2008 9:56 PM
I hate to give advice on when to test. After my last cycle it's too hard for me to know when to test. My chart looked beautiful for a long time and my LP was 4 days longer than normal. I'd wait until atleast the day AF is due for you. I know that's easier said than done but try your best. I just don't want you to get your heart broken.

Name: annmarie | Date: May 7th, 2008 10:02 PM
Oh yeah Amy, I know some doctor's do things differently. Mine believes that the S/A should be done first because it's the cheapest and least invasive. Then they do the HSG before starting Clomid because he says it doesn't do any good to give Clomid if the tubes are blocked and nothing can get through anyway. So that's how we got to this point. It's really a matter of how comfortable you are and how much you trust your doctor. I trust mine completely and love him!!! Well girls, I'm going to do a little studying then head to bed. I have to be up at 5:30 for work again. All my love, Ann XOXO

Name: babynewbie | Date: May 7th, 2008 10:06 PM
hiya girls! i am comfy in my pj's in the sunroom listening to the rain. amy - i have a 5 year old irish setter (molly) & a 2 year old chocolate lab (murphy), also recently added is a 4 month old male silver tabby/siamese cross named Rambo (after these lovely girls on this thread!)...quite the mini-zoo. also my energy level is the way it is because I don't work, believe me I didn't get the half of the stuff done I do now when I was full time at a design firm!!! lol. testing is something that i am the queen of putting off! :) i wait as long as i can but everyone has their own way of doing things. ann i just read you repainted the doors - that is SO something i would do!!! well that's about it for me, i'm going to put away the computer, take my magazines and head to bed...talk to all in the morning! love regan XO

Name: praying4baby | Date: May 7th, 2008 10:40 PM
Ok, thanks for all your input gals! i don't have any hpt's in the house right now, so i won't be tempted till i go to walmart lol. Irish setters are so beautiful! and of course i'm partial to the lab :) I love kitties, too, but dan (my dh) is allergic, so no cats allowed for now. We just ended up giving our dogs a bath because they were digging in the backyard...so now the back yard is a wreck and so is my bathroom from the baths. oh well, our houses can't be spotless and perfect all the time i suppose. well girls have a great night and a wonderful day tomorrow...sweet dreams!

Morning!!! What is everyone up to today? I am just having a cup of coffee while I wait for my landscaper to arrive and give me some guidance on designing these gardens of mine. Otherwise not much going on here. Just dropping in to say hello & bump us up. I am going to book my Vancouver trip today for early June, I have to go start to organize putting the condo on the market. I'm considering using the funds to purchase a small condo in Toronto so when I go back to working I have a place in the city (its a 40 minute drive when traffic is good). Anyway I'll check in later! XOXO Regan
