hello everyone :) I have a question about some things and I was wondering if anyone can help me out...I am on bcp and have been for almost 3 months now...I take the pill each day but I didnt think that it mattered so much to take it the same ti;me and I take it at much different times each day. Well about 3 weeks ago I started getting really emotional (example...was watching the notebook and cried SO bad....sobbing....) I have been a complete witch to my bf &in one sec then the next everything &is ok.....the next min I am crying again (I cried for half a day and then just stopped and decided all was well)..my lower back hurts and I have been eating SO much lately and there is a slight pressure in my lower abdomen and the oddest thinng is that I started spotting lightly (not enough for a pad and just when I wiped u could see it) and my period is not due yet so this spotting ıs like 4 days before my period should happen. We had sex the other night and the bleeding has got a little heavier but now just very light bleeding again....any opinions here?? I wont test until sunday when my bf comes back home from a trip but I am SOOOOO nervous and dont know what to think.... ?

It is always a possibility to become pregnant on the pill or any other contraceptive for that matter, especially if you are not using the contraceptive right (if you take your pill with in one hour of your usual time you should be ok) and are not using any other type of protection (like condoms, spermicide etc). It could also be that your body is still adjusting to all the hormones your bc is pumping into your system. Definately take a test to be sure, but I think that it is just the effects of the birth control you are on. Also, if you keep spotting each month way before your period (break through bleeding) contact your dr. and let them know, They may have to put you on a different kind of bc. Good luck! ↑
see thats the bad thing is that it isnt just an hour or two time difference...and we dont use any other bc method (not even pulling out) so I really dont know what to think...I have been really tired too and unmotivated to do things that I normally want to do (like cooking...I love to cook but just havent felt like it) and I have wanted to sleep more so I am kinda nervous. :) I just have a weird feeling u know? Do you think that after 3 months of being on it that it would cause side effects like this....arrrgh I hate not knowing :) ↑
