Answer: I'm sorta old fashioned so I do my sauce in a huge pot on the stove all day, but it is easily transferred to a crock pot. Sear 2 small bottom round steaks and 3 boneless pork chops until browned on both sides, add 2 large cans plain tomatoe sauce, 4 cloves garlic minced, one medium onion chopped, 1 teaspoon dry basil, 1/2 teaspoon dry oregano, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup dry red wine (real wine not cooking wine) salt and pepper to taste. Set pot to 8 hours on low. 10 minutes before serving add 2 tbspns tomato paste and stir well, simmer low for another few minutes to thicken. You can either remove meat and serve seperate or I like to shred it with 2 forks and leave it in the sauce for a really great meat sauce. =

Answer: Oh yeah I sweat the onions in 1 tbspn butter+ 1 tbspn olive oil, then add the garlic and cook over low heat for 3 minutes. But it comes out just fine without that step and it's easier =

Answer: EASY--- add 2 or 3 large bonless skinless chicken breasts in crock pot. Cover with two cans of Cambell's Chicken Gumbo soup, 1 can of chicken broth, and one can of diced tomatoes or if you don't like tomatoes, then just do the tomatoe sauce (but only a small can). let it cook for 6 to 8 hours and then shred or whole and top over some steamed rice...yum! =

Answer: Oh, make the breasts frozen...or...reduce the time of cooking...also- cook on low in the crock pot for both senarios. =

Answer: My absolute favorite crock pot recipe is on allrecipes.com. Search for Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup. It's super easy and fast to throw together because you use a packet of taco seasoning. It's dh's favorite meal.  =

Answer: *Slow cooker pulled BBQ chicken* 2 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breast 1 Bottle of good quality BBQ sauce (don't use the cheap Kraft stuff, well, unless you like it ) I like Cattlemans classic 1 small sweet onion sauteed 1 tsp worcestershire sauce 1 Tbls brown sugar Put all ingrediants in slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours or until meat is tender and falls apart easy. When meat is done pull apart with 2 forks and add back to BBQ sauce. Serve on toasted buns with some yummy homemade slaw.  =

Answer: you can put the chicken in frozen, that should work just fine. You will want to add some time, perhaps 8 hours should do. It is really good!  =

Answer: Here's an easy one for baby back ribs. Put these ingredients in your crock pot IN THIS ORDER: Cut an onion into quarters (or 16th's if it's a large one). Add 3 peeled carrots cut into 1 inch large slices. Add 2 celery stalks cut into 1 inch slices. Or you can buy pre-cut pre-washed carrots and celery if you want. Pour in some apple juice or orange juice enough to nearly cover the veggies. Add a slab or 1/2 slab of baby back ribs meat side down. Sprinkle salt or garlic salt on the ribs first. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 1/2 hours. In the last hour or half hour of cooking turn the ribs over and brush on some BBQ sauce (my fave is KC Masterpiece original). The ribs should be nice and tender and if you added enough juice to cover the meat the meat will even fall off the bone so add more or less juice to your liking.  =

Answer: I found a bunch of crockpot recipes on about.com You might want to check them out. I only tried one so far... the chicken stew and it was yummy! Crockpots are great! They make the whole kitchen (and sometimes a few other rooms) smell great and after all that waiting and smelling, it's dinner time! I guess its the anticipation... not sure, but they make dinner great! =
