Question: I'm 8 weeks pregnant today and when I went to the bathroom this morning, I noticed a little bit of brown blood on the tissue. I miscarried last July and I am so scared that I'm going to miscarry again. Has anyone else experienced spotting during the first 8 weeks of pregnancy and still go on to have a healthy pregnancy? ?

Answer: hi...i had the exact same thing during my 8th week as well...and today i am 24 weeks....dont worry, could be from the placenta burrowing in to the uterus, from sex etc. i called my doc and she said not to worry, that it is very common. if you start to get painful cramps or bright red blood, then go to the ER. that "brown" blood is old, and though disoncerting to see, its a good sign that its not fresh blood. remember...our doctors are there for us, if you get too concerned, call them. hugs. =
