hi well i have had an ectopic. dr says it was due to scarring but i dont know how i could have scarred she said it could have been from some type of infection but i never had any symptoms of infection! i didnt know i was preg. i was having what i thought was my period for the 3rd time in the same month i called dr they said it could be an off month which i said i have never had an off month in 16 yrs. im 27 and started period at 11. they said nothing to worry about! well i started having severe pain i couldnt even walk! went to dr she said maybe i had std!!! ive been with same man for 8 yrs so i was mad. tests came back neg. she sent me for sono thinking it was a cyst but before she got results i went to er they told me it was ectopic. dr told me it could poss dissolve with some shot that started with m . so i stayed the weekend had the shots and went home by next weekend i was back in er with the severe pain but worse! with bleeding and clots on call dr sent me for another sono. i had to go for emer surg he said i had been internally bleeding all that time and could have died! i guess the baby was embedded in right ovary and tube so i lost both. i really want another baby i have 2 children 11 & 8 i just hope i can still conceive has anyone else experienced anything like this with the success of having another baby.

While it can make it harder to conceive, you can still get pregnant if you have 1 ovary, tube and uterus still all present. GL
