if so, do they really have the backgrounds that they show online as examples? i wanted to use a couple of them today at anjelica's appointment, specifically the one with roses all over it and the sesame street one, but didn't know if they were all really available. ↓

I should hope they have those backgrounds or else that's false advertising! You should go check it out and get some purty pictures done. I have never gone the JC penney route, but we have done Walmart. So in other words, I wouldn't know; but I should think so. ↑

walmart does a good job too, that's where we went last time. this time her abuela (grandma) is paying for it so she wanted to go to penney's. i mainly wanted to go to penney's for the more backgrounds so ya, i agree i would not even get them done if it is false advertising cause i can just go to walmart and a get a ton more pictures for the same thing! i am excited...she just started her teeth breaking through yesterday so hopefully she wont be too cranky! ↑

Give the local store a call and ask. Since we started using JCP last year, I don't remember asking for any particular backgrounds - the photographers just set up what they think looks best with the outfit, etc. Usually we have white or blue sheets, gause (sp?), or black backgrounds, something along those lines, but I seem to remember seeing other backgrounds hanging behind those that looked like pictures. ↑

I have had the the one with the roses done, so they should have it, don't know about the Sesame Street. Like buffi r said...give 'em a call, they have always been super nice on the phone. Oh and I have only used JCP since dd was born over 4 years ago and have been going every 3 months since ds has been born. ↑
I personally don't like Wal-mart. Their pictures are just OKAY. Not the best they could be. Where are you from? And yes Pennys does have the rose background but I'm not too sure about the other background I can always ask my mom since she works there on Saturdays and Sundays. And they have always been nice to me and my family, but then again my mom is always there doign the pictures herself since she has being it for 17 years now. But let me know where you are from because if you live Harrisburg Pa I'll give you some input and tell you to call the one here and ask for my mom. But again every store is different so some stores could have the seasme street one and others might not have it. I don't think the one my mom works at has it. ↑

Specialty backdrops are only available for a certain amount of time. They have been showing a jungle or safari backdrop recently but the one near me is only going to have it for 1 day as I understand it. ↑
