hi..i need to be reassured by anyone who may be able to help me. My LMP (normal) was 3/08/08 and my cycles are usually 23 days apart. So I took a HPT on 03/31/08 and it was positive and all since then (20) have been positive. hcg level on 4/13/08 was 16 and 4/16/08 was 125. I had bleeding from 4/2-4/5 and positive preg test after the bleeding. No cramping just bleeding. My doctors are worried about my numbers and now I'm freaking out along with them. I am not in any pain so I cant say that I think its eptopic. I dont really have any symptoms except hunger and sense of smell. Can anyone shed some light or have been through this and carried a healthy baby or do I prepare myself for the worst? ↓
I am in your same shoes. I went to the dr monday on 6/9 and my level was 20. I went back thursday 6/13 and my level was 40 so they told me not to worry it is going up. That is kinda hard to do when in Jan I had an ectopic pregnancy, and my four yr old prays for a bay every night. I am so woried I know I have to give it to God tho it is out of my hands. ↑
Your levels seem ok. You will normally get a positive on a preg test if your hcg is over 10, so they are not a good guide for a m/c. Your bleeding seems to be around when your period is due but sounds like it is implantation bleeding. Go back to get more bloods done, every 3 days if you can. They should double every 2-3.5 days. so you seem to be on track. good luck. ↑

I had found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks. My HCG was 12000. 72 hours later they were 21000. and a WEEK later were 44000. Doctor told me to expect a miscarriage any day.... since this was not a normal rise. I had gone in again at 10 weeks, since I did not miscarry, and they did an ultrasound. Baby is GREAT! All is ok - New DR said to disregard that, since HCG can vary from woman to woman. Hope all is well :) ↑
Hi all I'm new to the site (well I've been reading, but a little shy to post) I just found out I am pregnant 4-5 weeks. Ultrasound (trans) showed sack & yolk & measured at about 4 weeks 4 days. My hcg went from 138 to 438 in 48 hours (more than doubled) then went from 438 to 5300 in one week exactly (which to my calculations is pretty normal if I was doubling every 48 hours) doctors were concerned they should see more than sack & yolk on ultrasound at this time & with my high hcgs they got worried. I tried to stay positive they took blood 2 days later & called me with upsetting news said my hcgs hadn't doubled they were 8500 so just went up 2300 ish & didn't double. They want to do an ultrasound tuesday in the morning cause they're worried. My friend said not to worry because some women double in 72 hours not 48 hours & because my levels were over 6000 they begin to take longer to double. They went up the last time approx. 60% in 2 days. Is this a bad sign like the doctors are saying? And what should I expect to see at my ultrasound tuesday when I will only be 5 weeks & like 2 or 1 day? I'm nervous as I had 2 miscarriages in the past.. The second one was a silent miscarriage due to no heart development & I needed a d&c at 10 weeks. I'm terrified... any advice?
Ps: I've also had a strange discharge today. I went to the bathroom- wiped myself & I had a slimy (snot-jelly like) yellowish-clear discharge that was thick no blood no odor no itch... anyone had this?
