Im on my second baby and with this one I didnt feel him move until week 20 or 21. I too got really nervous, but then one day he just moved. I felt my first so much earlier so it did worry me, but dont worry yet. I would wait until week 22-23 and if you haven't felt baby by then, then it might be time to talk to your dr about it, but for now youre fine.

Try laying down on your left side and drinking a glass of orange juice or anything else nutritious, then just concentrate on your lower abdominal area, kind of where you get menstrual cramps. It might take a while, but you might feel the baby move -- more like little taps or gas bubbles. As long as it is quiet and you can concentrate. If that doesn't work I would call the dr. and ask to come in to check the heartbeat.

Hi Elisa Im also 19 weeks and I feel the same as you. I haven't felt any movement. It makes me so nervous. One of my friends is pregnant and she felt her baby move at 17 weeks. I have my 20 week ultrasound next Thursday and i just keep praying everything will be ok.

it is very easy to get scared when you are still in the part of your pregnancy that you dont feel the baby...i tried so hard to get pregnant with my 1st and i figured once i was prego, i could relax...but it only gets worse, and after the baby is born, you will be scared about everything then too! IS he/she breathing...are they normal...are their eyes crossed, it just goes on and on...i am sure you are both fine...and once the baby starts moving, there is no feeling in the world better than that!! here is my suggestion..rent a doppler...it is like $20/month, but it is worth it for the peace of mind! i had one with both my prenancys and i dont know how i would have lived without it!! I LIstened to the heartbeat everyday, or any time i was worried! if you search fetal dopplers in the search engine there will be many to look at!! good luck, and let me know how it goes!! OH, by the way..i took a pregnancy test every month with my 1st until i could feel her move!
