can I take Trazadone while I am pregnant to help me sleep at night because I don't sleep at night ever all I do is toss and turn with no sleep and no rest. ↑
ask your dr for a list of safe medications. you could also call the pharmacy, they might know. sudafed, tylenol, and robitussin have always been on my ok list from my dr. ↑
I was told different things by different medical professionals. I was told Allegra was okay, then I was told it definitely was not okay. I was told that Sudafed was fine, though. I was also told that Claritin is fine. Has anyone heard anything about Allegra and Sudafed? ↑
I have a printout from my doctor and she is with a great practice for a huge hospital and it says Benadryl, Sinutab and Sutafed are fine to take. This is from University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH. ↑
I was already taking a generic Claritin (Wal*Mart brand, 60-count bottle costs about $12) and was told it was ok to continue. My drs told me that Claritin, Benadryl, Chlor-Trimeton and Sudafed were all ok. When my allergies really kicked up in May, I asked what else I could take, and told the dr that I had sound online that Flonase and Zyrtec were ok to take. He said sure, so I said write me an Rx for more Flonase! It's been so much better since then, because I have indoor and outdoor allergies. ↑
I had to take Zofran for about four months for severe vomitting. I am now 29 weeks and baby is doing great. Zofran is a life saver. I am allergic to other anti-emetics and Zofran works the best anyway. ↑
Depending on the type of medication it can be really harmful or not.. most medicine once you stop when you find out your pregnant shouldnt be harmful. I was in a really bad car accident 2 weeks before I found out I was pregnant and i was taking muscle relaxers, pain killers, and xanax.. I quit as soon as I found out and was concerned about the xanax....i am 20 weeks and so far everything is beautiful. It usually says on the bottle if it harmful or not ↑
I have all the early symptoms of pregnancy, I took a home pregnancy test and it came out negative. I am concern because I am diabetic and take 2 type of meds (no insulin), I am also on synthroid. My main concern is me being diabetic and pregnant. I have read I could have a miscarriage or pass it on to my unborn if pregnant. Is this true ↑
at what stage of pregnancy did you know in your head that you were pregnant ? before your hpts came up negative. i think i might be six weeks all hpts negative ↑
Hi im 34 weeks pregant and i didnt know till i was 7 months i was even pregant..i was going thru a legal child custody battle with my ex..and i smoked and was on vicodin cause of a bad ear infection and i also have bad knee's the baby is breech right now ..the very little prenatal care and the smoking and vicodin..im scared but doctors assure me after blood tests and ultra sound everything is okay...should i still be worried??? ↑
michelle, all mothers worry about their unborn baby. Worrying will not change anything and the chances that something is wrong with your baby is slim. Don't beat yourself up over it, but take care of yourself from this day forward. Did you have a 3-D ultrasound to rule out any defects? Areyou still using any addictive medication? If so, don't stop abruptly b/c you can go into premature labor. Tell your doctor so you may either gradually wean yourself and the baby, and/or they can be prepared at the birth. Keeping this info from them can cause more problems than one might imagine, not to mention your baby will suffer horrible withdrawal at birth. They will know if this is happening and make things difficult for you. My suggestion is to speak with your OB/GYN as honestly as possible. Best wishes:) ↑
Audrey,
Something told me i was pregnant about 4 weeks before i found out which is around 4 weeks of pregnancy too.... This is not my first pregnancy either so i knew what to look for and i had all the early sympyoms but nothing came up positive until the 8 week all the other pregnancy i found out at 5 weeks.. go to the dr and get a blood test they are 100% accurate! ↑
