It can certainly effect the baby, I really don't think that it would cause the loss of all 3 babies unless she really smoked a extreme amount. What were the reasons they gave her? Some people have problems carrying a pregnancy that require medication to carry to term. Low progesterone, clotting issues, there are many more that I just don't know. She should definately quit if she becomes pregnant again, it's only 9 months and she needs to think of the baby first.

I would think that your sister and her doctor would know the answer, but encourage your sister to tell her doctor about the pot if you think she hasn't been honest with him/her.
