period all out of wack after stopped breastfeeding

I was hoping someone else was in this situation. I have an 11 month old and stopped breastfeeding her 2 months ago. My period has returned but I do not have any signs of ovulation. My husband and I are trying for another baby and this is frustrating. Hope someone can give some insight. Thanks in advance! ↓

Have you tried opk's? My cycle changed (got much shorter) after bf'ing my lo. You may just not know when to look for the signs,  ↑

I did try opk's and I got a negative response the whole cycle. According to all the websites out there and believe me I read them I should have ovulated on cd 19. I drink alot of water. I was just wandering if anyone else had this happen. I think I am going to start charting. ↑
