I read where someone had posted that the thread was to long and to move to the pregnant through clomid new, So i went there and didnt see your names anywhere . i have been searching all over to find out whats up and keep in contact with you guys. ok.. now that I know u guys are hear.. wheew... Ash78: That's good news! The month I became pregnant, I had four eggs that released (6 total). Still got only one, so I understand your concern. Jules: IUI is nothing special. Just a catether inserted through your uterus, you don't feel much. That's what worked for me, in combination with clomid. It still took 4 tries though.... Keep in touch!!! ↑

CGgirl-I to am going to try the Clomid IUI. I am hoping it works within the first two trys because that is all the savings we have. We have decided however if they do not work we will simply take out a loan and try for the BIG IVF!!! We have a 80% shot with the IVF and only 16-20% with the IUI, but I want to try the IUI way first so I can say at least I tried. Hope everyone has a great week and keep in touch! BBD to ALL!!! ↑
Hi everyone. Jena, I tried finding the new forum you are on, and was not able to. Jules, I REALLY hope IUI works. You will for sure have to keep us updated. As for me, I went to the Dr on Friday to see if any eggs had dropped. He said he was sure one dropped for sure, and thinks that both did, so now I wait again! I am trying to look at every ovulation as a victory, and remain positive. ↑

Hai all,till 48 days my AF didnt came after taking clomid with -ve result,i consulted my doctor,she took scan and said the egg might be dissolved in the uterus without any fertilisation.so she gave me duphaston to start my AF with clomid third cycle.I have taken one duphaston for 12 days and today is 22nd day till AF not yet.I have a appointment on wednesday,lets see whats happening with me.Lots of baby dust to all :-) ↑

Im 5 week pregnant! ,v confirmed yesterday, in hospital they had a faint line in the pregnancy test on wednesday,so they go for blood test and they ask me to come the day after,then i had a scan and they confirmed.so guys,dont loose ur hopes.Have belief. and work hard to achieve.sure u finally u get the result.clomid works for me.Have a lot of baby dust to all :-) ↑
Thanku Ash78 and Jules78.Sure i will share my experience with u in upcoming stages.I had the symptoms like breast tender,sore,frequent urination,bloating etc.but i thought i may be the side effect of clomid and haven't had HPT before going to hospital.So guys pls note the changes in a note during each and every cycles of clomid with dates and time.so that u can predict the variance.
Keep ur body cool on the fertility days by drinking tender coconut or lot of plain water(it will make up ur quality and quantity of ur cervical mucos),drink a cup of milk before going to bed,and most important make the level of haemoglobin higher while on ttc.bcoz my level is only 7.6 on dec 2006 and its 11.5 on oct 2007,but still this level is normal.

Tuesday will be the first time ever taking clomid. I thought there was never any chance being i would only see my cycle one a year. I am so ansy-excited, hoping I will get preg the first cycle but not trying to be so excited that I will be dissapointed if I dont. Any words for encouragement, anyone ever get preg with there first cycle of clomid? ↑
Thanku Jena,No I didnt had IUI.My Suggestion is before going to ttc take semen test for ur male and then go for clomid as per doctors advice.I think after completion of 3rd cycle with failure they go for Fallopian tube test(whether its have any damage or not )and other tests,if any pbm with the test ,they give further solution or they continue to have another 3 clomid cycles In my case i didnt know how this happen.Actually i consult doctor to increase my dose to let my AF come but surprisingly!!!!!!My LMP is 28th september and i took clomid(cycle 2)on day 2 to 6(29 sep to 3rd of october) ,I ovulated one egg from one side on 8th oct ,But my doctor said another one is going to ovulate in another side.thats it,I waited for 48 daysfrom my LMP(had negative HPT on 33rd day and 40th day)and finally consulted my doctor on 48th day(12th of nov)She said may be the egg dissolved without any fertilisation(also Urine test negative).and gave me duphaston for 12 days one each day for my AF to come till 23 days afetr taking duphaston i havent had my AF.On 23rd day test had a faintline.and they want to take blood test and conformed on next day,So i think may be the older one will be ovulated later and formed,and I have my first appointment on next week (7th week) to hear heartbeat.Have Hope with clomid.It definitely works(why im telling is the pbm is in myside irregular period or missed period for morre than 3 months,so clomid definetely works for all) Good luck for Ash78,Jules78,Jena and allthe guys...:-) ↑
Erica dont leave ur hope,Make up ur hopes towards clomid,but dont expect too much,while on failure just note what are all mistakes done by us without knowing.and try to avoid those mistakes in next try.Gud luck.HAve Baby dust.....:-) ↑
Hi all, and welcome Erica. I think it is great that you are so pisitive about Clomid!!! I will warn you that my first cycle with it, I did not ovulate, but have in my last 2 cycles, so be prepared. Sometimes it takes a bit for the doctors to get the dosage right. OK...here is my new issue/question (I feel really dumb, but oh well) Have any of you that are still on here ever been pregnant? The reason I ask is because I felt REALLY positive about this month. AF is due to come on Wednesday, and I usually have bad cramps and bad lower backache the same day she visits. Well, this morning, my backache started, BAD and worse than normal. Has anyone ever been pregnant and still had PMS-ish backache and cramps? I am sure I just need to face reality and accept that I get to move on to round 4 of Clomid, but I so thought this would be my month!!! My temp dropped a TINY bit, but not like last month before I started, and is still high above my coverline. Anyone have these symptoms and still been pregnant? ↑
Ash 78 - Keep your thoughts positive you never know!!! I tried clomid for six months and ovulated every month but was never able to concieve but at least it had me ovulating. I wish I had something for you to compare to but I was not so lucky. However I have heard many success stories about Clomid working. Keep your head up and keep praying. I go back on Clomid in January for our first IUI. :) baby dust to all. ↑
Ash78: Lower backpain is very common in early pregnancy. Don't put your hopes too high, but don't despair either. As for me, we have an ultrasound tomorrow (19 weeks) where we hope to find out the sex of the baby. I'm a total nerve ball, thinking that there could be something wrong... Keep us posted! ↑

Hi all ... been reading this thread for the past couple of days and its given me some form of hope and relief. I am 35 and have been trying to conceive for a year now with no luck unfortunately ... I have been having irregular periods my whole life... did a HSG but it seems clear .... did a hormones test and have an appoinment with the gyn on the 3rd of jan. I am going to ask her abt prescribing me clomid ... coz there are so many hopeful stories. Am having my periods at the moment and this month i will try the cough syrup therapy hence the question when shall i strat taking it ... after my periods ends or when i start my discharge .... I am such an emotional wreck at the moment but am trying very hard to compose myself especially when everyone one around me is pregnant but me !!!!.... Sigh !!! ↑
Congratulations cutegirl! We had our 19 week u/s before Xmas and found out that we are having a girl!!!! All is well, but I'm still anxious and nervous about the pregnancy.
Sofia: let us know what your dr says. As for taking cough syrup, this is the most spread urban legend, but don't count on that to make you pregnant. Also consider the fact that it contains many ingredients (like alcohol for example) that are not good for someone who is trying to conceive. Keep us posted! ↑

Well according to the gyn my hormones are normal and my deary husband's sperm analysis is also normal ... however they discovered that I have 3 fibroids which could possibly the cause of m not being able to conceive ... therefore, they will be inserting a camera into the uetrus to find out where my fibroids are. Lets see how it goes now .. Your right CgGirl, regarding the cough syrup ,,, didnt take it. ↑
Me and My husband have been trying to have a baby for one and half year now. No luck but just last month i did a pregnancy test and it came positive but then i got my period four days after i usually get them. We were so excited. Dunno what happend. Anyhow, I am starting clomind this month. Need ur prayers and wish me good luck. Been depressed alot. I feel like why is it so hard. All mine friends just delivered third child and here i am. anyone in the same situation? ↑
**Gollgapi - have you recently taken a pregnancy test? It isn't uncommon for women to have a "period" while being pregnant. My pregnancy ended in miscarriage but there were a lot of other factors involved. I would definately double check before you start Clomid...or just make a trip to the Dr.'s office so they can do a blood test. Good luck and let us know how it goes! ↑

Hi I have a few questions and concerns and am wondering if someone can ease my mind alittle bit. I am 21 and ttc I have psoc and have been on medroxyprogesterone for a year and this is my first round of clomid 50mg day 3-7. I am very nervous and anxious. I received somewhat of a period on dec 29th that was just the beginning not anything red.... but from jan 1st to the 10th I took 10mg of medroxyprogesterone and went to the geno on the 11th for my annual papsmear then he gave me the clomid.. Later that night I started spotting with bad back aches.. my breast are alittle sore but nothing bad and no cramps. and have been spotting very little ever since.. I called the doctor yesterday and she told me to start the clomid.. but I am scared that it wont work this cycle because I took it at the wrong time.. does anyone have any input on any of this or with clomid at all .. taking it early.. and me and my fience have had any intimacy since the day1 of this cycle and I dont want till I start on the day10 with the ovulation predictor is that too long.. will his semen be not as strong cuz that is too long.. ? or will it make it stronger?! sorry this is soo long I just am so nervous. ↑

I have not been on this thing for a while. We found out some more things that are hindering our chances for conception.
DH has bad morphology. Only 2% normal. He went to the specialist, and found that he basically has vericaose viens in his scrotum, so he will need to have surgery for him to have a better normal count. I went in on Jan 18th for a laparoscopy and the Dr found a significant amount of endometriosis so he removed that. I am now on my 5th cycle of Clomid, but the 4th cycle with ovulation. My Dr. did not want us to miss a cycle, even though we know my DH has a problem, so we did IUI yesterday.
After this cycle though, we are taking a break until my husband has the surgery and his swimmers replenish. That usually takes about 2-3 months for the swimmers to replenish once the surgery is over. I figure I will take a break from the Clomid and start fresh if the IUI does not work.
To be honest, I am looking forward to the break if there is no BFP this month. I am an emotional mess, and cant take anymore for a while! Sooooo, there is my update. Keep letting us know about your Dr. visits. ↑
