HI im 26 and i had my little boy 1 year ago after 2 cycles of clomid the feelings of period cramps are completly normal i rushed myself to the doctor when i had these pains and it is just where the womb and lining are adjusting to welcome the pregnancy
Throughout my pregnancy i was worried about miscarraige i must say that my son was 7 weeks prem but that was because i lost my waters early not because of the clomid we are now starting our 2nd course and i am on the 2nd day of my first cycle so fingers crossed ↑
hello i am now on day 33 still no period. i took a preg test on day 31 and it came back neg. i have still been having bad cramps and breast soreness. i am not sure why i would not have my period if the dr told me i did ovulate. has anyone else had this happen to them? i go in to the dr Monday 3/21 for a check up. ↑
Sarah, Hi!! I can relate to your situation. I once ovulated with the help of clomid, but did not get my period. My doctor had to prescribe Provera so that I would get my period. I once went almost 35 days without a period, but I wasn't pregnant. I have been diagnosed with PCOS, which basically means I don't ovulate which is why it's so difficult keeping track of when I do ovulate with clomid. I was pregnant once with triplets (I was 5 1/2 months when they were born but they didn't survive) and I too had the sore breasts and very, terrible sharp pains in my abdomen. I'm on clomid again, 2nd cycle, and I'm still waiting for that exciting news that I'm pregnant. This time hopefully only with 1 baby. Let's hope and pray. :) ↑
Diana - thanks for your response. i have pcos also. i guess i was just confused because i thought that if when you have pcos and dont have a period thats normal because you didnt ovulate. i did not realize that even if you do ovulate you still may not have a period. my dr. will probably have me take provera also i have taken it before i started my first round of clomid. i wish you the best of luck! keep in touch and let me know how things go. ↑
Jennifer (March 2) I stayed on my Metformin throughout and after the miscarriage at 5 1/2 weeks. I think this helped my period start without having to get it started with something like prometrium. My period started approximately 4 1/2 weeks after my miscarriage and the Dr. called in the prescription for Clomid at that time. So, our twins were concieved 6-7 weeks after the miscarriage. Our Dr. had originally wanted us to wait 6 weeks before trying again, so that worked out well with the timeline. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. ↑
Hi everybody, this is my first time on clomid. I am on day 23 and I am experiencing some pain in my lower abdomen. Could this mean it worked. I know that it is too early to tell but has anyone experienced this before? ↑
jane-hi that is very normal my dr. told me. i just finished the first round of clomid and on day 3 of the second round. i have pcos so i also take glucophage and provera. i'm going to try the ovulation sticks this time...has anyone had luck with them?lets hope ↑
I am six weeks pregnant thanks to clomid. As long as the pain is not hurting and only iritating I was told this meant the uterous is growing. I don't know I think that I may be carring twins ↑
hello ladies, i normally chat on problems getting pregnant but just had some good news that i do not quite believe!!!
had 2 neg preg tests which changed to positive!!! very bad cramping pain, stabbing, back ache, tired etc, 1st round of clomid scan showed 2 follicles about to release 2 eggs... so i maybe think it could be twins and thats why my symptoms are so bad, really the cramping hurts and i just keep running to the toilet expecting to be bleeding..
doctor thinks i am , and have got to test tomoz to confirm and wil have an early preg scan in 2 weeks because of previous history(2 miscarrages, 1 eptopic, ttc for 4 years)
please help ladies, has this happened to anyone before with the pregnancy tests and the pains....belly is very bloated but have lost 4lb (have cut out chocolate for 1 week)
i need reasurrance, i will not believe it until i see scan.. am on day 28 of cycle normally have a 23/24/25 day cycle but clomid is suppose to make it 28 days, last year on clomid i had a 27 day cycle.. so hard to tell whats going on, i'm sure pregnancy is not this painful ??????? i'm in tears sometimes with pain and frustration....
please answer me , thanks michelle x ↑
Michelle, Hi, I had been pregnant with triplets and felt just like what you just described. Unfortunately for me, I went into pre-term labor and the babies didn't make it. But good news, I just found out that I'm pregnant again!!! I'm 2 1/2 weeks pregnant after my second round of clomid, and this time I am not experiencing the same symptoms. This is why I believe I am only carrying one this time. I'll have an ultrasound in about two weeks or so which will tell me how many I'm carrying. Good luck to you and to all. I'll keep you in my prayers. ↑
HI my name is carissa and I'm starting Clomid this Friday. I'm 22 and not ovulating and just recently my periods have stopped and needed help of provera to start. I will be taking my temp and using ovulation pred. kit. So I hope to plan it right and get pg first cycle on clomid. Keep you all updated ↑
Hi Everyone! I am new to this forum however, I have been reading all of your posts for the past couple of weeks. I am 30 years old and have been trying to get pregnant for a year and a half. I just started my 3rd cycle of clomid. The doctor still has me on 50mg. I thought after not conceiving for the first two months, that he would have upped my dosage to 100mg. I am happy to hear so many people, who had trouble getting pregnant, are in fact pregnant now. That gives me so much hope. I really had a breakdown last week when I found out that I was not pregnant AGAIN! It seems everyone around me is now getting pregnant and I'm still hoping and wishing it would happen for me already. This really seems like a great group of supporters. Best of luck to everyone! ↑
congratulations DIANA!!!..
my test yesterday was positive also, i am only just over 4 weeks... still early days..
i think the pains i'm getting are a mixture of period like and my irritable bowel, as pain relieves once have been to toilet or let out trapped wind, sorry to be crude....i'm so happy but am wanting weeks to pass as its such a waiting game, i really can't go through another loss.....
i have a scan in 2 weeks..x ↑
Hi, kimberly I know how it feels when everyone around you is pregnant and now for me they all are having baby showers. Are time will come and hope everything works out for all ttc. ↑
Thanks Carissa... I know what you mean about the baby showers. I just had one last Sat and now have another one April 3rd. It is really hard. Anyway, I hope the clomid works out for you. It is my 3rd cycle and I am hoping this is it. Keep us all posted....Goodluck... ↑
Jane...I have always been irregular too. I started the clomid 3 months ago and had 2 periods so far on it. They both were 30 day cycles....which was a lot better than my usual 40-45 day cycles. I consider that the clomid did regulate me somewhat. At least my cycles are now 30 days...And now that I am somewhat "regular" I hope this 3rd cycle of clomid works...Hope this helps....goodluck... ↑
I was on clomid with my first pregnancy and it didn't work. So we had to up the doses and also use fertnix. I had a very health baby boy. This time around we where on Follisum and I am very happy to say yesterday I found out that there is twins! ↑
Hi everyone. Congradulations too, Michelle!! I go today to the doc for a pelvic exam. He thinks I'm almost three weeks pregnant now. He said he won't be able to tell if it's just one baby until an ultrasound is done, which will probably be scheduled for mid April. Good luck to you and to everyone who's ttc. I'll continue praying. ↑
I am on my third round of clomid. I ovulated the first month on 50 mg but not the second. My doctor increased my dosage to 100 mg this month so I am hoping it will work again. Since I never ovulated before I had really painful cramps around the time I was ovulating and after provera the third month I had severe cramping. My only side effect from the higher dosage so far is insomnia. Good luck everyone just wanted to share my story since everyone is so honest and supportive. Thanks for your stories ↑
Jane...I would wait one more day. If you don't get your period by tomorrow, try taking a test. Before the clomid, I was so irregular. I took at least 5 or 6 pregnancy tests. I can't stand the disappointment. I want so much for it to be positive. I always get my hopes up and then I am so extremely disappointed. Just wanted to remind you to expect the worst but hope for the best. Goodluck...Let us all know if there is any good news. ↑
KImberly, I tested yesterday, negative. I called the doctor and she said to wit till 35, test again, and then begin taking the provera. She is probably going to change the dosage of the clomid too. Thanks for all your support. Wish I had better news. ↑
