i'm sorry but i doubt they didn't tell you anything. i'm sure they did but if they told you before, you may have forgotten from the stress and if they told you after, you may have forgotten from the drugs, so you need to stop having sex for now. there's a reason you go back after a few weeks, depending on what your doctor says it may be 6 weeks, to see if you're healing properly. also, d&c's can leave you with open wounds and you don't want to be putting anything up there that can cause a problem or give you an infection. call your doctor and ask these questions.

its not neccesarily safe to have sex just after a D&C. your uterus is too fragile after being scrapedaway piece by piece. its better to wait a littlebit more time. i didnt follow my docs orders and did the same thing you did, but i ended up having pain for more than i needed and bleeding for longer than it was supposed to last. although the time might be right and feelings are all there, your body isnt ready to go through it all again just yet.

The rule is to wait two weeks to insert anything in the vagina and no sex until the bleeding has stopped. If you are too physically active you are likely to have cramps and bleeding. This includes walking too much, lifting too much, etc. Take it easy. Your body has been through a lot.

By the way, the two week rule is because your cervix is still open from the D&C and you risk infection. If you develop a fever or pain you should call a doctor.
