sorry to be so tmi, but its kinda freaken me out! i am 9 and a half weeks pregnant and all of a sudden i am getting these sharp shooting pains!! anyone have this? or know what this is? ↓
I had really bad cramps until I was 10 weeks, it is normal as long as it isn't accompanied with bleeding. Call your doctor if you feel uneasy about it. ↑
billsgirl- I just asked my doctor about the very same thing and she told me it was just another part of the "stretching" similiar to the round ligament pain. I was getting sharp shooting pain in my cervix for a few days which thankfully went away. It sounds like what you were describing. ↑
I told my o.b. about similar cramps and mild pains. She said it was normal. Hang in there and don't worry too much... that's what I keep telling myself as I get through this first trimester ↑
billsgirl~ I just experienced this exact same pain the other day and I am only 5 weeks along. It felt like someone was stabbing me with a knife! The pain started on my left side near my ovary and shot down to my pubic bone and through my va-jay-jay:) I was concerned but reading on here, it seems to be normal, gotta love pregnancy!!! ↑
