i have had two u/s now, and i still do not have any answers.
My first u/s at 8 wks had my dr calling me immediately for an appt, he told me at the appt that they suspect whether or not the gestational sac is alive it is measured at 12mm. (5weeks lmp)
Second u/s at 10wk5days my sac has not grown much, but there is a very strong heartbeat, at 171bpm.
Met my dr. day after u/s (09/05/08), he told me he is somewhat puzzled, especially at the fact of the heartbeat. Now I am only getting more blood tests.
Now I am waiting for Monday, but in the mean time I am still worried. I have been spotting since the 2nd, but bleeding and cramping on the 5th. I told my dr about it, but he told me that we can only wait for my hCG results to see if it doubling, if it is a miscarriage than there is nothing him or i can do.
Today is the 6th, my cramps have settled down, but the bleeding has not. I am so lost.
Has anyone gone through any of this. I am prepared for the worst, but I would still like to know if there is hope? ↓
I don't want to scare you but this sounds like one of my pregnancies. It is not what you are hoping for. BUT I'm sure this has happened to someone and everthing turned out ok. I will tell you my story if you wish but not unless you want to hear. Let me know. I will pray for a good outcome ↑
I am so sorry to hear of your pain both physical and emotional. I went through somthing similar last year . My sac wasn't developing properly nor was the fetal pole inside. My doctors diagnosed me with a missed pregnancy after 3 weeks of probing and ultrasounds. I am currently on another preg rollercoaster waiting for results. I will keep you in my prayers.
