Britney and Baby
Just when we thought Britney Spears was finally settling down into her role as mother to four-month-old Sean Preston, In Touch comes along and tells us that she’s already pregnant again. According to one of their sources (unnamed, of course), Britney ran into a friend who couldn’t help but check out her larger-than-usual stomach. When Britney noticed, she laughed and said “That’s right, here comes another one.” Not sure if that really is a revelation or just a sarcastic response to a not-so-polite pal. However, In Touch also reports that shopper Ginny Masse (a named source?! Unbelievable!) spotted Spears at upscale furniture store Shabby Chic. While there, Masse says Spears put her hands on her stomach and said “That’s right, number two!” However, Masse doesn’t explain just who Spears was talking to. Perhaps herself and we should be concerned that she is actually going insane? In Touch has one final quote from one of Spears’ supposedly closest friends, who has this to say about a second pregnancy: “Britney is definitely pregnant again. She’s acting the same way she did when she was pregnant with her first child.” But what about Britney’s very real baby, Sean Preston? Well, one thing is for certain, he will not take after his father and be seen out and about with pierced ears. Mr. Spears, aka Kevin Federline, is said to have tried taking the tot to get his ears pierced. When Spears found out about the dastardly plan, she was livid. Someone on the scene of the couples fight said, “Britney was out of control. She was screaming at Kevin in the street.” Apparently, Spears feels that earrings would make her little boy look like a little girl as well as “trailer trash”. However, Kevin did his best to win her over, yelling that it was “the right thing to do.” Luckily for Sean Preston, Britney won this argument and no holes were ever punched into his ears.

Another Girl for Gwyneth
Despite a report last week saying Gwyneth Paltrow was having a boy, Star magazine is going against the grain and saying that the couple should be shopping for all things pink. According to the tabloid, a December prenatal check-up as St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica was the moment of truth for Paltrow and husband Chris Martin as they learned that they would be having another girl. According to Star’s unnamed source “[Gwyneth’s] got a clean bill of health and isn’t nervous about the pregnancy. This time around things have been even easier for her than when she was expecting Apple.” Glad to hear this pregnancy is treating her a bit better, but we’ll wait until the official birth announcement before buying her that pink or blue baby blanket.

Hurley Pregnant?
Could supermodel Elizabeth Hurley be pregnant again? If the British newspaper The Times is to be believed, then quite possibly. A spy for the paper reports seeing the Estee Lauder spokeswoman leaving an antenatal clinic in London. A call to her rep for confirmation on the pregnancy resulted in a “No comment” comment. Well, that’s better than saying no. Hurley already has a three-year-old son, Damian, from a former relationship with millionaire (and not so nice guy who required a DNA test before admitting his was Damian father) Steve Bing. Hurley has been involved with Arun Nayar, an Indian businessman, for three years.

Stefani’s Shopping Spree
Gwen Stefani is clearly excited about her mom-to-be status. Over the weekend, Stefani and husband, Gavin Rossdale, were out and about in London doing some baby shopping. But not just your usual, picking up a nice bib and maybe a fun diaper bag kind of shopping. Oh no. If you’re Gwen Stefani, you spend ₤11,000 on baby clothes at upscale London store, Elias & Grace. With all those clothes, one can only assume to find some hint of the baby’s sex. But Stefani and Rossdale didn’t give a thing away. Despite buying a wide range of clothes for various ages (and holding various items up to Rossdale so he can fawn over them as she was), a mole for British newspaper The Daily Mirror said “She gave nothing away when it came to the baby’s sex because she got everything in neutral colors.” Of course, being a celebrity, Stefani still has to look fabulous herself. Which means she spent another ₤2,000 on designer maternity wear from Vivienne Westwood and See by Chloe. Ever the fashionista, though, Stefani has said that she plans on launching her own line of maternity wear for her L.A.M.B. collection. But Stefani won’t just have a well-dressed baby. Her baby will be well-loved as the spy reported “Gwen talks and sings to her bump all the time. She’s determined to create the perfect family unit.” Stefani is due in June.

Girl for Grohl
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and his wife, Jordyn Blum, will be welcoming a little girl into their lives in March, Grohl has revealed to MTV Europe. But she likely won’t be a quiet girl, judging by the nickname they have given her. Dubbed “The Karate Kid” because of all her high-powered kicking in mommy’s womb, Grohl explains “All I know is right now my baby is one of the most hyperactive children. I mean, she’s not born, but I don’t even have to feel my wife’s stomach anymore. I just have to watch her shirt.”

Bassett and Vance have been together since the fall of 1996, getting engaged just a few months later in December.

Jolie: “I Won’t Get Pregnant Again!”
Seems as though Star has all dirt on celebrity pregnancies these days. Their sources are revealing that Angelina Jolie has vowed never to become pregnant again after enduring months of morning sickness not to mention the normal bodily changes that come with pregnancy. The Stars mole reportedly overheard Jolie tell director Robert Rodriguez that she and partner, Brad Pitt, wanted to have 13 children “[b]ut we’re going to adopt the rest. I can’t stand to be pregnant again and that’s how many we want.” As for a due date, Star says it is June 6th, more than a month after the May 2nd due date announced by Us Weekly. And if you’re wondering about Jolie and Pitts marriage plans, widely reported to be “imminent” by various sources since Pitt filed to adopt Jolie’s two children, then you may have to wonder a bit longer. Supposedly, Jolie has said: “We will never marry! If the kids get older and demand that we have a ceremony, then we might. But that’s a touchy subject with us.” However, Britain’s Sunday Mirror is claiming that Pitt asked director Guy Ritchie to be his best man when the two lunched recently. Apparently, Pitt and Jolie met Richie and his wife, Madonna, for lunch to discuss the plans. Even celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is rumored to have shown up at this luncheon, possibly to discuss his role as caterer for the event.

Thompson Adopts Rwandan Teen
British actress Emma Thompson and her husband, Greg Wise, have adopted a child from Rwanda. However, this is not your typical newborn adoption. The couple decided to adopt a 17-year-old boy whose parents were both killed during the Rwandan civil war. The Oscar-winning actress had previously undergone IVF treatments, without success, in the hopes of conceiving a second child. Says the actress: “I started to think about the things I could do usefully to help children. Funnily enough, through finding something else to do with my mothering instincts, other children have come and there is something to offer them – a life with an extended family, which I think is preferable to an entirely nuclear family.” And her new son, Tindyebwa Agaba, certainly seems to have no problems with his new family. Thompson has said that Tindyebwa received excellent grades in his final exams and is now in the process of applying to universities. In addition to Tindyebwa, Thompson and Wise also have a six-year-old daughter, Gaia.

Katie Worried About Premature Labor
According to American tabloid Star, as her due date draws near, Katie Holmes is growing increasingly worried about the possibility of experiencing pre-term labor. Apparently Katie was born close to two months early and she’s nervous that her baby could be, too. An unnamed “friend” of Holmes’ told Star “Katie’s mom went into labor with her almost two months early. Katie was only four pounds at birth and it was touch-and-go for several days before doctors determined that she was going to make it. She seems desperately afraid that the same thing could happen to her!” There hasn’t been any news of any complications in her pregnancy, so hopefully everything will be just fine.
