“Killers” Lead Singer Flowers Becomes a Dad
After announcing last year he and his wife Tana were ready to start a family, singer Brandon Flowers (of the alternative group The Killers) has become a father for the first time. His son – whose name has not yet been revealed – was born on Saturday. Although the couple, both 26, has not yet released an official statement, they are both said to be “thrilled” about the new addition. Last year, Flowers revealed he and his wife were excitedly planning on becoming pregnant. And despite the fact that the baby boy is his first, Flowers showed no sign of being nervous, saying, "I have 19 little nieces and nephews, so I've been around babies a long time. I was six when my first niece was born." Source: FemaleFirst.co.uk
K-Fed Goes All-Out for Sons’ Nurseries
Kevin Federline’s $3.2 million mansion in California would not have been complete were without suitably decorated rooms for his sons. That’s why the rapper and estranged husband of Britney Spears blew $14,000 at an exclusive L.A. boutique, Petit Tresor, on the renovation. Of course, the amount pales in comparison to the $45,000 Britney shelled out on Sean Preston’s nursery in the couple’s formerly-shared Malibu mansion. As for the status of the couple’s relationship, according to media reports, things don’t look good. Recently, a source told Us Weekly Federline "thinks [Britney] is mentally unstable and too young to be a mom. He expects to have full custody of his children one day". Source: FemaleFirst.co.uk

Madonna Anxious About Adoption Inspection
Despite being the parents of 7-year-old Malawi boy David Banda for almost 8 months, and having the approval of the boy’s own father, Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie will once again have to prove their ability to parent the child. This time, however, it will be carried out by one of Malawi’s top welfare inspectors, Penston Kilembe, director of Malawi's Ministry of Child Welfare. And according to British newspaper, The Sun, they have reason to be nervous. A source told the paper, "This home study is a big deal - and Madonna and Guy have been absolutely dreading it. Malawi is a conservative country that disapproves of drugs, alcohol, divorce and cheating. These assessments are very gruelling and many couples don't pass." Kilembe will observe the family at their London home for two weeks, five days of which will be spent exclusively in the home. Some of the questions Madonna and Ritchie are prepping to be grilled on include those pertaining to divorce, infidelity, infertility and alcohol. Source: FemaleFirst.co.uk
