Grant Hill and Tamia Are Proud Parents of a Baby Girl
Basketball player Grant Hill and his wife, Grammy-nominated R&B singer Tamia welcomed a baby girl into their family yesterday. The new baby, named Lael Rose, weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces and was born in Orlando, Florida. She is their second daughter. Their first, Myla Grace is 5 years old.

Olympian Sarah Schleper to Skip Season for the Birth of Her First Child
Three-time Olympian and four-time slalom champion Sarah Schleper will be sitting out the 2008 World Cup for the birth of her first child early next year. This doesn't phase her though - she is excited to have the baby and hopes it will send a good message: "I'm really looking forward to having my baby. I think it'll be kind of inspiring for other women, showing that they can be athletes and a mother, too," she states. The baby is due late January or early February 2008 and Sarah plans to resume training and racing in 2009. Her and her fiancée are planning to marry, but not until at least 2009.

Nicole Richie a High Risk Pregnancy - Rushed to Hospital
Reality TV star and socialite, Nicole Richie, was reportedly rushed to the hospital recently for fear she was having a miscarriage. At the end of July, 4-months-pregnant Nicole noticed bleeding and became scared. Doctors reassured Nicole that the baby was fine, but cautioned her to eat more to feed the unborn child. She is reportedly suffering from a hormonal and nutritional deficiency, and it was already suspected that Nicole's pregnancy might be high risk due to her current low weight and history of drug abuse.

New Baby Boy for Jack White and Karen Elson
White Stripes singer Jack White and his supermodel wife Karen Elson welcomed a new addition to their family on Tuesday in New York. The baby boy, named Henry Lee White, is the couple's second child. Little Henry's big sister, Scarlett Theresa White is now 15 months. Both mom and baby are happy and healthy.
