Celebrity Mom Jennifer Lopez and Dina Lohan, Mom of Celebrity Lindsay Lohan Receive Mom of the Year Award
New York’s Mingling Mom’s Organization named new celebrity mom Jennifer Lopez Mom of the Year during a ceremony held on May 6, 2008. Lopez became the mom of twins, boy Max and girl Emma, in February of this year. Dina Lohan, mother of celebrity actress Lindsay Lohan, as well as the moms of Alec Balwin, Mariah Carey, Eddie Murphy and Billy Joel, was also named Mom of the Year.
President of the Organization Erica Longiudice, said the ceremony was established to “recognize the people who inspire their children and helped them in their career.” She went on to say, “We thought assembling such a list would be a great tribute to the women who were behind the scenes of these superstars’ tremendous careers.”
Michael Lohan, father of Lindsay Lohan and ex-husband to Dina Lohan called the award a joke saying, “Are you kidding! Top celebrity mom? Look at her off-screen antics, her lack of morals and how she conducts herself. I guess they forgot to mention how this top super-mom leaves her kids alone at night and even parties in their presence. Just wait until we go back to court.”
