Nicole Richie gave birth to a baby boy during the early morning hours of September 9, 2009. Her son weighed 7lb, 14oz. Nicole and her husband, Joel Madden, have announced that they have named their son Sparrow James Midnight Madden. Yes, you have read right. Sparrow. Their son’s name follows in the celebrity trend of giving “unique” baby names such as Apple, Bronx, Zuma, and Sunday. Congratulations to the happy couple.
