I am 10-weeks pregnant with twins and so far it has been a tough pregnancy. I have severe nauseau/morning sickness and am extremely tired. I have a 7-year son whom I can not even have the energy to really take of and of course that is making me feel guilty. I am also sleeping on the job, of course I go to the bathroom at work and sit in the stall on the toilet and just take quick 10 to 15 minutes naps. Here is the question, yesterday my doctor gave me a note to give to my employer as he is recmmending 2-weeks of bedrest or until I pass the nauseau stage (12-weeks or so) but the thing is I m afraid if I tell my emplyer that I am pregnant and am having complications, may not get the same treatment. This a private firm and I have worked with them for 10-months. I am afraid that if I give them the doctor's note and ask for the time, they may see me as a burden and eventually let me go. Help!

you need to speak to the human resource dept at your firm not your boss
