Being Promoted But Just Found Out I`m Pregnant....

i got a new job in may. i`m an hourly worker and don`t get benefits til about nov. it`s a physical job. i stand for atleast 6 hours and lift heavy boxes. i was considered for a promotion in management and passed the test and my pomotion is still being processed. it`s been about 2 months since they told me to wait for the promotion to go through. this position includes immedite health insurance and salary pay. i just found out i`m pregnant & don`t wanna tell them. i`m afraid they won`t promote me. keep in mind...this company has about only 10% women & i don`t want to be replaced by a man because i`m gonna need to take it easy and take time offf. what should i do??? i don`t know how much longer the promotion is gonna take....they keep saying "soon". please help.....THANX ALL!!!!!

I wouldn't say a word about being pg. However, I would inquire and check about your promotion as much as possible to push it through ASAP. Ask if there is anything holding it up and if there is anything you can do to facilitate it. Good luck!
