Has anyone rented the breastpump from the hospital?
About how much do they rent for?
We plan on one baby so I don't want to buy a good one for 6-9 months.

I rented the Medela classic. It was $75 per month, and I only used it for a month and a half.

I have been looking into this, too. Here, it is only $25/month, which seems to be way cheaper than most places ($50-80/month is the norm I have seen) and a $50 fee for tubes. The electrics are $225-300 to purchase and resell on e-bay for $75-150. Hope this helps.

I rented for a week and it was $25 a month and when I did the math it was cheaper to just buy a pump. I bought a USED Pump In Style at a children's exchange store for $80. They're $250 at Target. Go on E-bay and buy a used one. You can get a sterile collection kit at your hospital and most insurances will pay for it. Mine paid for all but $15 and it was like $50 for the kit if you don't want to use the used stuff....but I still used it all as it's nice having extra pieces instead of washing them after every use.
