Recently, I've noticed I don't have an Appetite anymore and it happened around the time I stopped Breastfeeding my baby. I hope this is normal as I am REALLY CONCERNED that I might be sick or something. I've heard of having depression but has anybody at all heard about loosing your appetite?? I feel fine other from that actually, I am able to function well, I feel happy and everything else is great. Please somebody answer this Question as I am going CRAZY with anxiety. I Thank you in Advance and wait for your answer.

The same thing happened to me also. My daughter self-weaned, she was ready, but I wasn't! I was a little depressed and lost my appetite for awhile too. My mother-in-law is a Certified Lactation Consultant and said that it is very normal.

Wow, thank you so much! A girlfriend who was pregnant when I was told me recently that she lost her appetite too but hers is coming back now. She said that I should gain it back by my second mensuration cycle. I don't know if that is true for everybody. I also have this strange tingling or numbness on my tounge, I don't know if that is related to this or perhaps I've become allergic to something. Anyways, thank you again. Anybody who wants to add to this please do so. I've never heard of it and they don't discuss this in discussion groups of any kind, they talk about depression, but not this. Thankgoodness I'm not depressed.

Yeah, I had the same too, right after breast feeding ended. All foods didn't taste as good as before. I think it's a kind of depression though I wasn't depressed either. I'm not sure about that come to think about it.
