Leaking Even Though Im Done Breastfeeding???

Hi. I stopped breastfeeding my baby about 5 weeks ago, but recently I feel like im leaking alittle and the milk will come out just a little bit. Is this normal or is it a sign I could be pregnant again and the milk is coming out still? Not sure cause this didnt happen with my first. thanks

Dont worry you can still leak like that off and on for a year,its diffrent everytime.It took me 4 months before I stopped leaking on a daily bassis,but I still do once in a while.

It's been 8 months for me when I stopped and I still get the tingle let down and leak... So strange...

I still had milk up until about a month ago and stopped bfing last Oct. When I went in for my yearly they were going to do a hormone test but when I tried to get milk out none came so I thought it had stopped so they didn't do the test. Call your OB and see what they say they may want you to come in and check your hormone levels.

Yep, me, too! DS weaned about 4 months ago now, and I still get that tingly let-down feeling and what looks like colostrum crusted around my nipples. I'm not spraying milk (more like oozing it), but I think spraying or leaking greater quantities is pretty normal, too. A friend sprayed milk every time she took a hot shower for about a year after her DD weaned. Her doc said she was leaking just enough during each shower to trick her body into thinking it needed to continue producing - strange huh?
