Need Help W/engorgement

My left breast is not draining properly and has two red lumps, one underneath and one on the inside. It is very painful. I have gone into a hot shower and the rest of the breast drains after with the pump or nursing, but the red lumpy areas remain looking engorged. My doc said to take tylenol, HOT shower or compress and then feed or pump every hours and be sure to empty each time. I have to see her in the am, but the left breast will not empty. Has anyone else had this?

Sounds like u have Mastitis. Breast infection. Google it. I got put on antibiotics and it went away in a few days. DON"T stop b'fding. It helps drain away the infection. Ur lo will not be affected. Good Luck.
