It'll go away. You'll probably start thinking that your supply has dropped and you'll start questioning if you're making enough somewhere around 12 weeks. (At least, that's when it happened to me) cause you won't feel engorged, and you may not feel a letdown anymore. Don't worry about it, all it means is that your supply has stabilized to your baby. Just keep an eye on his diapers. |

Wow Jamie, too funny -- I actually just asked my lactation lady about my milk supply and she said basically the same thing. I'm 11 weeks pp, and I don't notice any engorgement at all. However I'm definitely making enough milk, ds is almost 14 lbs. (he was 9 lbs. 5 oz. when born though, a big guy). Ashley good luck to you, hope it gets better soon. |

I actually do get a bit engorged once in awhile and my dd is 3mo. It happens when I go to work my one day a week, if I don't pump, and my right breast is always dripping in the am because we co-sleep and my dd nurses on the left only at night. That's been my experience. I still feel the pins and needles feeling of my letdown. |

I got engorged various times while nursing when my babies' needs changed, but it evens out within a few days. spamanda... our babies were the exact same weight (my oldest was 9 lbs. 5 oz.)! |
