Reglan To Increase Milk Supply

I took Reglan and it didn't do anything for me at all. There is also an herbal remedy you can take with it called Fenugreek. They sell it at GNC and other health food stores. I took them together with my first and they did nothing for me. Can I ask why you were back at the hospital? How is Jillian doing? (oh, I hope I remembered her name correctly). As far as I know your body 'should ' readjust and your supply 'should' increase with demand. The last time I talked to you, you had enough milk for triplets! lol |

Hey Mandi, glad to hear from you again! I was in the hospital for MRSA. I got it when I was in the hospital having Jillian and it just got worse and worse. She is doing great! She weighs 10lbs 1 oz now and is changing more and more everyday. She is becoming a little fussy though. She usually fusses for about 15 to 20 mintues about an hour after she has eaten. I dont know if its gas or what. Last night I tried the Mylicon drops for the first time but I dont think I gave her enough, I was too scared. lol. I seem to only be able to pump about 4-4.5 oz every 3-4 hours and she is eating almost 5 every 4 hours during the night and about 4.5 every 3 hours during the day. So I have almost caught back up with her I think. I really would like to be about to feed her then store some extra after each feeding. I am pumping into the bottle for her during the day and just last night started her back on the breast at night time. We will see how it goes. I got a Ameda Purely Yours pump that seems to be doing pretty good. I also ordered the Madela Pump and Style too. I've heard so many good things about it so I had to get it. I think I'm going to try and sell the Ameda one on ebay. How are you doing? |

MRSA, did they get rid of it?! That is the scariest infection to get. Are you alright now? Go ahead and give Jillian the full dose of the Mylicon. Madalyn's pediatrician basically told me that the stuff is pretty harmless. You would have to feed her the whole bottle to cause a problem. You can also work her legs and stroke her tummy in a rainbow arch from right to left (just put a tad bit of pressure). This will help move any bubbles through her system. It's funny, sometimes they 'toot' while you are doing it. I am okay, it is just all the pressure in my ribs and the fact that my feet hurt all the time. I like to be out doing things all the time, so it is hard for me to just sit around, especially with a toddler who want to go places. Anyway, have a great first mother's day!! Hopefully I will hear form you soon. |
