Smoking And BFing

I smoked for about 4 months before I got pregnant and really enjoyed it. I gave it up when i found out I was pregnant and now that iv had her i would like to take it up again. The only problem is im breastfeeding and I dont know if it would effect my baby.. I was reading one study that says they get more nicotine from the smoke in the air than through breast milk, but I would like the advise of other moms. I wont smoke around my baby (PROMISE!) Please help!
