Treating A Yeast Infection While Breastfeeding...HELP!

I had bronchitis and had to take antibiotics...Upsetting enough while breastfeeding. Well, now I have a yeast infection and the doctor prescribed a treatment for it, but I do not like what I read on-line about it. The doctor has assured me it is safe, but it is categorized as a L3 for breastfeeding and I do not want to run the risk. Has anyone had a yeast infection while breastfeeding? And how did you treat it? Over the counter stuff? Please help - I can't figure out what to do!
