Hello again ladies, soon I will be on here asking BF questions, but until them it will be about things that go with breastfeeding. I have purchased some Lanisoh reusable breast pads, the cotton kind. I also would like to know about the Lana woolies, and what disposables you like. I would prefer to use reusable ones, but also would like some disposable ones. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

I leaked really bad until recently and my son is 6 months now. I mean, the first 2 or so let-downs it would spray..and really far. SO needless to say those washable nursing pads ( I have the same ones) didnt cut it.I always bought Target brand disposible. Its big box for about 5 dollars and they worked better than the name brands, or just as good.

Lansinoh disposables are great. My second choice is Johnson's.

I like the disposable Lansinoh and medela brands. The Johnson's brand I did not like at all. They keep ++++ humidity.

Thanks I think that I am going to get the Lansinoh kind because they have them where I live. I still am curious about the Lanas I have heard they are really nice. It also sounds like it just depends on how much leakage is going on, so I guess I just wait and see.

I first started to use the washable ones and I always leaked like crazy. Now I am using the Medela ones and I love them. They are super absorbent and you can't tell I'm even wearing one. The only thing that bothers me is when I breastfeed I have to take it out or it gets all crumbled up in my bra so it makes it a little harder to bf in public. Then again it is better then leaking in public! LOL

Lansinoh disposable because they are so big and very absorbent.

I have used the Gerber lights for everyday use. I work with a bunch of men, so pumping is not always a scheduled event which can result in leaks. The light pads provide me with enough protection to get me through. I did buy some generic regular pads. I am not a small breasted woman, so I felt like I was adding to my size when I wore them. Like Veronicab, they do crumple up when I nurse. However, I tend to be a private nurser, so I am usually able to straighten things out after the baby is done.

Well, it is funny oyu asked this because I TOTALLY leaked in the ped's office today when my son cried when weighing him. I felt like a dumbass when the dr came in and was tryingt o keep eye contact with me instead of looking at my two perfect circles on my shirt :) As for breast pads, the Gerber ones were the ones I was using and they SUCKED for me (obviously). It is also nice to leak when I had on my black shirt- some of the milk dried white :) That's hot!! Gerber is not recommended from me.
