ok dd seems to be on nursing strike, i usually part bottle feed but have been bf'ing all day a lot more. But the last couple feedings she keeps refusing to take my boob and my pump doesn't seem to be working like it usually does!!i don't want my supply to go down. how long do pumps usually last for? i've tried washing it, pulling the rings back and making sure the valves are in tight, even bought new batteries and tried the plug to.

I don't know what kind of pump you have but my PIS would not work properly if the little white membranes were old. You could try to replace the membranes if your pump has them.

what are those? i've only had my pump about a week after dd was born so it's like 4 months old. For the price of them they probably shouldn't be doing this. it's the first years double electric kind of pump.
