I didn't like the Avent, but I bought a Medela Harmony manual breast pump and I like it a lot. It has two modes, one to stimulate let down and then one for expression. It also doesn't have too many parts to take apart and clean. Very easy to use. Before you buy a pump, I would suggest going on target.com or babiesrus.com and reading some of the reviews. I was convinced I was going to buy a different pump until I read that everyone was rating it very poorly and saying exactly what they hated about it!
