Growth Spurt?

From kellymom.com: Common times for growth spurts are during the first few days at home and around 7-10 days, 2-3 weeks, 4-6 weeks, 3 months, 4 months, 6 months and 9 months (more or less). Babies don't read calendars, however, so your baby may do things differently. |

Each baby has unique growth spirts. Just about the time that you settle into a routine, the routine will suddenly change and you will feel like you have a child constantly attached to you! Keep nursing! All of that stimulation will increase your supply over a few days time to meet your childs needs. Then your will start to see things level off again and a routine will develop once more. Don't get to settled with the routine...because time flys and the next thing you know you will hit ANOTHER growth spurt. Your baby knows what it needs. Go with the flow and adapt the best you can. The first 2 months are the hardest. You are over the halfway point! |

Do they tend to get fussier too during a growth spurt? My son just turned two weeks and is eating voraciously all of a sudden, and fussier than normal. Just curious. Never done this before. |
