I want to breast feed, but I just discovered I have inverted nipples. Does anyone know what can be done to correct this? Will I still be able to breastfeed?

You can see a lactation consultant. Most likely they will hook you up with some nipple shields. They are great and really help give the baby something to suck on and they are pretty comfortable to use and easy. You can find them at most Target locations. Good luck!

You may have inverted nipples now but after using the nipple shields for a bit you may find that you won't need them any longer. Breastfeeding is ALWAYS possible. It depends on YOUR determination! If you have good support you will do great. Don't surround yourself with people that do not support breast feeding. They will try to bring you down!! Good luck!!
