Hello there, well, I'm still breastfeeding my 8 month old daughter. The disadvantages that I have found with breastfeeding are few and far between. one is that unless you are pumping milk and bottlefeeding (you shouldn't introduce a bottle to a breastfed baby until they are 6 weeks old) then you are the only one who is able to feed the baby which means you are the one getting up with her during the night, another disadvantage is that you don't have any way of knowing how much milk your baby is getting, which makes a lot of women wonder if their baby is getting enough. Also, for a lot of women breastfeeding is painful in the first couple of weeks until your nipples get toughened up. If you are modest you may have a hard time getting out of the house because you don't want to nurse in public. That's all I can think of for disadvantages, but there are many many advantages to breastfeeding that far outweigh the disadvantages. Oh, and the idea that breastfeeding causes saggy boobs is a myth, more likely to affect them are hereditary factors, age, ineffective or insufficient support, or excessive weight gain in pregnancy. And remember, just because you're a teen mom ,it doesn't mean that you are any less capable of breastfeedin gor being a great parent. I was 19 when I had my daughter and managed just fine. I just say this because you said your age on here as if it had something to do with your ability to breastfeed and I just want to assure you that you have just as good of a chance as anybody for breastfeeding succesfully
