why are you using foul language in every single on of your posts? it doesn't make you look big or clever.

So the school disctrict is not good enough to teach your children, yet they are qualified to judge your ability as a teacher/parent? You use them as an attestment to the fact that your children are not being abused, as if they are qualified in that department, but not the other. Also, MJ IS A DRUG!! The mere fact that you disagree on that point renders you INCAPABLE OF BEING A DECENT TEACHER TO ANYONE.

no, the school district is NOT capable of teaching my kids and it's not b/c of the individual teachers, it's b/c there's too many kids per class and i don't like some of the curriculum. isn't a one on one approach better than a 20 on one approach? it's simple numbers and a matter of common sense. can you handle that? and yes, they are capable of evaluating my kids b/c the achievement tests they have to take are based on ALL of their peers across the country. it isn't personal opinion. AND ihave had several therapists and evaluators in my home and they all thought i was a wonderful mother. i know i am a wonderful mother b/c my kids are great! they are obedient and respectful. if i was lazy, they'd be crazy. if i was mean, they'd be forlorn. if i was slacking, they'd be behind. you're just desperately searching for something to hit me over the head with, but you have NOTHING! you think i am posting under different names, you nitpic about my cussing, come on. get real. and i don't think you have yet answered me, you claim i do not take good care of my kids, but could you do what i do??? i am accountable to my state, so i can't be doing too bad of a job! it just so happens my state isone of the hardest to home school in. they hold very high standards and i have met, and exceeded, every one year after year. not bad for a stoner, huh? and yes, i am a hippy! :-)

Wow, this is a hot little debate, huh? I can tell you that livsmommy and NM are indeed two different people, and actually, two of the most well imformed people I know, when it comes to lots of things, not just smoking mj and the effects.

There are a lot of very sadly misinformed people on here, so it's not even worth it to argue with any of you, because some of you are very set on your opinions and won't listen to any evidence that maybe smoking mj isn't as "evil" as you all think it is.

And NM - I think you do deserve a mommy of the year award, I know you a little bit better than most of the people posting on here, and I know you are an amazing mom, as is livsmommy. Don't listen to people that have so much anger and hate in them. ;)

This is to nm...I've been following all of your posts and I'm proud of you for homeschooling all of your children. I am on your side about what you're saying. I'm getting more out of what you're trying to tell others, then others are trying to get (If that made any sence). You take a hit here and there and you still are able to teach you're children what they need to know, acedemically and everything else they need to know about life. You are a wonderful mommy and I give you all props. Keep your head high and try not to get all worked up over those stupid people who don't get what you're trying to say. And to all those who don't like nm, I guess you don't like me either, so what.

Why would you go onto a pregnancy and postnatal forum and say it's "disgusting to have so many children". What does that have to do with anything? God, I don't want/couldn't handle that many kids but I sure-as-hell don't think it's disgusting that she have them. The only thing that's disgusting is your comment. I'm not in love with somebody "smoking up" while breastfeeding or pregnant but she did explain that it's a toke here and there for a specific reason. I would sooner see that then somebody smoking cigarettes and they're legal!! NM's posts are long but they're not rambling and uninformed. Maybe you're the one having trouble concentrating? I'm sitting on the fence on this topic but if you're going to make an argument try to be informed and try not to make an ass of yourself with stupid comments.

Wow. This thread is full of horrid comments. I think that people forget that there is a human being on the other end. I used to smoke pot when I was younger and didn't mind the paranoia, but not while bf. I think the fact that the evidence for harm is unclear is reason enough to stay away. O occasionaly need to take a pain-killer for my TMJ, but give my baby formula when I do. At least until the elimination half-point has been reached.
