Mastitis???

My right breast has been red above the nipple
for a while and it was hurting so bad the other night that I could hardly hold my baby I get these sharp pains through both of them, I feed him regularly. This happened Saturday Night and that night I was running a fever and didn't feel well at all I for some reason I was running a fever and today is Monday and it's not hurting like it was but it still is red and I didn't know whether i should call my dr or is mastitis? Does anyone know????

i think its a good idea to speak to ur doctor as u did run a temperture

It definately does sound like mastitis. Use cold compresses on your breasts and call the doctor ASAP as this will only get worse. Bless your heart, I know it hurts!
