Hey ldaies, my dd is 7 months old and I still have not got my period. Is this normal? I am breastfeeding plus a little formula. I know that breastfeeding can delay your period, but 7 months?

Don't worry it perfectly normal. Some women get it soon after giving birth while others can easily go a year or more without getting one. When my 1st DS was 7mths I too had not had a post partum period & the only reason I got one when he was 7.5mths, is because I was sick of feeding him 4hourly around the clock so stopped the night feeds. I only had 2 periods then got pregnant again (new baby born 16th January 09). Enjoy not having them yet & congrats on your baby & feeding for this long.

It's totally normal, I also breatfeed my 7 1/2 month old daughter & sometimes give her a bottle of formula too & I still have not had my period. I also BF my son (who's now 3) until he was 11 months & I think I got my 1st period when he was around 13 or 14 months.

It's normal. DS was 9 months old before I AF back. Good luck with your new baby!
