White Bumps

Help...I have white bumps, like blisters on my nipples and it hurts to breastfeed...what is this?

not sure. i have bumps anyway but. you can find a wic program though the health dept. they have woman who help on this subjuct and are great. they offered to come to the hospital.

It might be Thrush. Does your baby's tongue and mouth look white at all? I had that when I was breastfeeding my son. You want to go see a doctor about it. If that is what it is they will give you medicine for the baby and for your breast. Good Luck

Sounds like thrush. I had this also, and the baby can get this in his/her mouth also. Usually they give a treatment to apply to the breast just before feeding that treats both mother and baby simultaneously. You will want to get this treated quickly as it will get worse...and alot more painful if left untreated.
