Hello!
I really need your experiences of VBAC.I hope to hear theat you had a successful VBAC even though you tried a vaginal birth after such a short period of time.
All doctors that examined my uterus said I have good chances as I delivered vaginally twice before and my muscle is strong and won´t rupture.I am very very worried that they cannot appreciate the thickness of my uterus on the basis of ultrasound and I risk too much.
Look forward to reading your experiences

i did have a successful vbac but it was 2 years from birth to birth. i decided to respond anyways cause when i was looking for vbac info i couldn't find anyone to lend a story. my first was a section due to many reasons. my second was born just 9/28/06, 2 years 4 days after my first. i went 10 days late (5 with the first) and only had mild contractions. but they were consistant so they decided to induce by breaking my water. my son was born 5 hours later! i was very worried about the strength of my uterus but it did not seem to be a problem. i had heard people say that you can feel when they pass over the scar. i couldn't, maybe because of the contractions i don't know. i did receive an epidural but it was only 45 min before he was born and according to the anesthesiologist it wouldn't have taken full effect by the time i had him (i went very fast obviously) so i consider myself going completely natural. i did however have a 4th degree tear but i think they had me push too fast. since you've had two successful vaginal births you have the experience and would probably know if something didn't feel right. good luck!

Thanks a lot for sharing your story.I am happy to read that you did succeed to deliver vaginally without problems.
So far I only read about two women who experienced a successfull VBAC within 12 months.
I reached to the conclusion that it is really impossible to predict an uterine rupture before a trial of labour.
I also did read about cases who had a rupture though they were considered good candidates for a VBAC.So I think the rate of success is individual and cannot be generalized.
Thank you once again for your input.
I´ll be waiting for other experiences as well, especially from those ladies who experienced a VBAC within a very short period of time.
