Knot After C-section

I had a c-section on September 8th. After he got the baby out he found a cyst and done away with it and tied my tubes. Well half of my stomach still has no feeling its totally numb still. On the same side as the numbness right around the cut is this big knot. Its extremely sore and it hurts all the time. I had a c-section before and never had the knot or the numbness. I asked the doctor and he didn't amswer. Does anyone know what it is?

sounds like a hernia....i would get it checked out....it could always be a bundle of muscle or something but i would get it checked out...

I have numbness in two places on my stomach from two different c-sections. It's fairly common. The knot you have could be scar tissue. I had a c-section Aug 17 and it still feels like I have a banana under my skin, although the lump has gotten smaller. When I had my first c-section it took months for the scar tissue to shrink. If your knot is a hernia, it would probably retract when you pushed gently on it.
