I am really needing some advice on this. Everytime I go to the hospital for my planned c-sections (this is my 3rd) when laying in the bed waiting my nerves are so messed up I start constantly having bowel movements. It's like I stay in the bathroom the whole time until I go into surgery. What can I do to help me stay out of the bathroom? Is valium safe? Is anyone else having this problem?????? Or is it just me???? HELP!

ask your doctor if you can do an enema while at home or when you first get to the hospital. I hope that doesn't happen to me. only 11 days to go :)

I was really nervous when I had my c-section. I told the doctor and the anthitelogist (sorry can't spell that one) gave me some medicine through my IV to calm me down. After that I was fine.
