Problems After C-section

Four years ago, I had my daughter via c-section and then in May I delivered again via c-section. I never had any problems other than that of scar tissue breaking up. Since my daughter was born in 2000, I have been diagnosed with both endometriosis and, more recently, moderate displaysia. I now am having problems at the lower end of the incision (scar). It swells and is very painful and VERY hard. I am concerned with this as I have never experienced so many problems with a scar. Is this normal or could it be an early warning sign of a more serious condition?
