I had a bad expereince with my 1st DD which was vaginal... because of this, I am thinking of having a CS.. Has anyone done this before and thought it was better than pushing?? How is the recovery process? I know everyone is different..

My c-section went great... i felt better 7 days after, and was up and walking all around by the 2nd day. I felt nothing during the procedure, not even that big pressure they warn you about... and getting the epi wasn't even bad (i think i was so nervous at first I didn't notice when they put it in) The whole thing was very fast maybe 15 mins or so and then i was back in my room holding my DD... the incision was not stitched either- they used a medical super glue, and it was only about 4 inches wide right above my pubic bone, and now a 14 months later you can barely even see the scar... the hospital here doesn't allow vbacs (vaginal birth after c-section) so my next one is also going to be a c-section and I am fine with that... if your vaginal experience was that bad, then maybe it is a good idea to do the c-section. that way you have experienced both. congrats
