I am 25 weeks pregnant with twins and I am not sure what type of delivery I want.
I would like a c-section, but I hear that it is a very long and painful recovery. I refuse to have an episiotomy and I am afraid that a vaginal birth will tear me up too much or be too complicated.
If anyone has had a multiple birth either by a c-section or vaginally can you please give me your experience with them.

I had twins by c-section in April. I now have an incisional hernia that I have to have repaired in two weeks (major surgery). I delivered two babies vaginally prior to this pregnancy. I would never have a c-section again. The recovery was harder than vaginal. I would rather go through the pain of labor than the recovery of a c-section. I think that my ab muscles were stretched and weakened with the twin pregnancy, and when I had the incision for the c-section, I got the hernia. I have a huge lump above my incision scare where the hernia is, which is fat and intestines coming through my ab wall.

Do kegel exercises, I feel that this is how I recovered well with my first two babies - and I did not tear with the second, and I only had to have one stitch with the first.

Good Luck! I love my twin boys.
