VBA2C Whats The Risks????

I see it's been a while since you posted this and I am not exactly what you're looking for but I had an emergency c-section at 40 weeks 5 days when my baby had a heart rate in the 270's. She turned out to have a heart defect and was fine with medication and is now off meds and doing great, but anyway the c-section was NOT what I wanted. I am pregnant again and due in September and am planning a homebirth with a Nurse Midwife. She found an article recently about a woman who had 4 previous cesareans and went on to have a successful home birth. My midwife said that a person with two previous cesareans would not be out of the question for her to try a VBAC with even at home so I would find an OB who is pro VBAC and go from there. I myself would be afraid to try a home birth after 2 cesareans, too risky for me, but I am eager to try after having one cesarean. Anyway I hope that once you do get pregnant you have peace with your decision. |
