I was told to pull mine off after a week...

Mine fell off in about two weeks....

With my first they were still hanging on at 3 weeks. Noone had told me to take them off. I placed a call in to the OB about something else and asked about the strips and she told me that I should've taken them off long before... like before I left the hospital! Even with that info I was terrified to pull them off because I was sure I would split wide open lol. With my 2nd and 3rd babies I had most of them off by the time Ieft the hospital.

i was told the same thing perl, mine are also still on 3 weeks later. im going to ob tomorrow ill let you know what she says.

Well, I'd be interested in hearing what your Dr said Venus. I pulled mine off today because I was just tired of looking at them. My husband told me that the nurse piled on the sticky stuff so that's probably why they had stuck on for so long. There are off and so far I haven't fallen apart though I'm still sore. : )

the doctor took them off today so i guess its all good to take them off. im still sore too and surprisingly sore where those suckers were stuck on there.

I don't know when mine came off. Went to the doc today and they weren't on there-I didn't even know they had put them on! Yay percocet! LOL

It's probably a tad late to respond since you pulled yours off, Perl, but I still had most of my Steri strips at my 6-week appt. I didn't have staples, though. I was told to let them fall off on their own, too. They really started itching when my pubic hair started growing back. The doc removed them at my 6-wk appt.
